Sorry
I went to the Sally Beauty store in…
I went to the Sally Beauty store in Woodbridge Va this week and the employee that helped me was very professional and answered all my questions and was just very helpful and patient, another employee came to help me because the other had to man the register. When she approached me she used a brash tone of voice ( that I took as why are you even here, what do you want, hurry up and get what you need, you're a bother) ,so I just said, I'm looking and she rolled her eyes and left and I continued reading the product instructions. I say that to say this, in this world there will always be employees who are not people oriented and that's life. I could've stooped to her level, but I thought after looking at her, how sorry I felt for her. I felt her tone was a deeper situation (in her own head.) And, I was not about to let her transfer it to me. When I go into the store I will simply ignore her and deal with the true professionals. I think our silence and ignoring will soon catch a bosses attention and they will have to deal with the problem. Even writing letters to corporate may carry some weight, who knows. I think, just pray for rude employees before they run into a person who will consider their rudeness the last straw and they let the rude ones internal strife become theirs and they end up in trouble. Customer service may never be what it was back in the day, because there are so many more businesses competing aganist one another. It's almost as if some employees these days bring personal strife to work, unable to leave it at home. I say try to stay clear of such, because you never know what they might do or say. Not realizing how the customer may translate it internally and feel. To rude employees I say, leave that little thing at the door, it will wait until you get off work and jump back on your back.
