Truthfully never thought about switching from adt. (Am one of those people that just stay with a service long term). Quick start to finish. A safe home rep rang my door bell. Was a little baffled at the fact it was a person that somehow just stopped by and rang the bell. A little iffy from the start due to being blind sided by a rep. BUT. He kept his distance and explained what he was offering and had a confident and professional approach. I offered to show him my current system after a few Q & A’s. He mentioned a few things that safe home system offered. He offered to just write everything out and just to show me what the deals/offers are. Answered every questions with a true honest answer no beating around the bushes in nice words. Turns out got more for same price. I told him let’s set it up. In a matter of 2 hrs. Literally 2 hrs. New system was installed. Jaw dropped was not expecting that. The rep stayed until it was set up and running to make sure everything was good. The installer was a great guy super friendly and knowledgeable. Quick. Clean. Amazing experience from A to Z.

I have a smart phone, but no one taught me how to get it connected with Safe Home Direct! I have a Ring Door Bell, I had to order a battery to install the Ring system.No help on my end! I'm confined to a power chair, because I am a double leg amputee!

My husband and I were very pleased with the process. They were prompt and efficient; but took time to be certain that we understood the equipment and how it functioned. They left contact information for any assistance that we might require.

The part of the process that I take issue with was not being able to decide the day and time for the system to be installed; requested it be done on Saturday but was told it had to be the same night. It was after 7pm when the sales rep left and after 8pm when the tech arrived to do the install, which took over 2 hrs. I was uncomfortable and not pleased about having a service tech in my home that late at night. In addition, since my days start around 4:30am, this made for an extremely long and exhausting day.

A rep. from Safe Home Direct came to my house told me his name and why he was there. Safe Home Direct is replacing the system I now have. I have had the system a couple of weeks, and find it very easy to activate and deactivate. I have ample time to exit the house when the away alarm is set. I have not had to use the emergency setting, but I only have to press one clearly marked button. Cameras and video doorbell remain the same, there is a problem with the smoke detector. Monitoring cost is much less.

Representative did Good Job!! I didn't seem to Save much from My ADT Account, as I thought I would? Then didn't realize there was 63 month agreement, until I printed Contract, which was a little disturbing? The Installer was Great and did a Great Job changing my service over. Hopefully I will be Saving over My 20+ Year Agreement I had with ADT!! DON Coffman
