I scheduled therapy services through Rula and was matched with a provider (Misty Allen) for an initial intake appointment. Unfortunately, the provider did not join the scheduled session. The appointment was rescheduled, and the provider again did not attend the second scheduled session. After waiting and contacting customer support, I ultimately canceled all appointments and decided not to continue with the platform. While customer support was responsive, the repeated missed sessions made it difficult to rely on the service for timely care. I hope Rula can improve provider accountability and communication, especially for new patients seeking consistent mental health support.

Helpful descriptions of providers with lots of freedom, easy to change my availability times and dates.

Rula is terrible. Can’t get in touch with them and when I finally do neither they nor my new provider gets back to me about missed appointments. Would an MD miss an appointment with a diabetic who was crashing? Or a person with a compound fracture? They act like they don’t care, that your concerns are NOT their concerns and a missed therapy appointment due to the provider’s error is no big deal.
