Rula still has not worked out my billing situation. i love my therapist but the unorganized way everything else is handled leaves a very bad taste in my mouth. i still can't see a psychiatrist, because apparently you don't have one in my network, so I am forced to go without medication for my severe anxiety. So, the only thing i like about your company is my therapist. Otherwise I would not be here.

What I thought was going to be great…
What I thought was going to be great and help my mental health situation"" ABSOLUTELY DID NOT.
I had to cancel my appointment because I could get home in time to jump onto my meeting, so I did the right thing and TEXTED my son called therapist to let her know this .She then tells me she understands and to reschedule. But unfortunately my schedule and her schedule what not lining up. So I said no thank this probably isn't for me. IN MY HEAD I'M SAYING THIS SHOULDN'T BE THIS HARD SO IT'S DEFINITELY NOT FOR ME.
ALL SUDDEN I GET CHARGED $99 WHICH ALL MY CHARGES GOT TO GET APPROVED THROUGH ME IT'S HOW I HAVE IT SET UP I DIDN'T EVEN SEE THIS THERAPIST DIDN'T EVEN SPEAK TO HER THE ONLY CONVERSATION I HAD WITH THIS LADY WAS THAT I COULD NOT MAKE IT TO OUR SESSION AND THEY ARE TRYING THEIR HARDEST TO GET THEIR $99 OUT OF MY ACCOUNT WHICH IS JUST NOT GOING TO HAPPEN RIGHT THERE THEY JUST SHOWED ME THAT THEY'RE MONEY HUNGRY AND THEY DON'T GIVE A DAMN ABOUT THE PATIENCE HOW COULD YOU CHARGE ME FOR SOMETHING THAT I NEVER EVEN WENT THROUGH WITH BUT YOU UNDERSTOOD THAT I COULDN'T MAKE IT TOTAL BULL.. BEWARE JUST ANOTHER COMPANY TRYING TO BANK OFF PEOPLE THAT THEY THINK DON'T KNOW NO BETTER. FORTUNATELY FOR ME I'VE BEEN WORKING THE MEDICAL FIELD 24 YEARS I DO BILLING I KNOW THE DEAL IF I WAS IN ESTABLISHED PATIENT AND I CANCELED YEAH YOU CAN CHARGE ME BUT IT WASN'T EVEN A ESTABLISHED PATIENT YET SO WHAT GIVES THEM THE RIGHT SHAME ON YOU RULER.
PLEASE BE ADVISED I DO NOT CARE FOR ANY FEEDBACKS HOW I FEEL AND WHAT I SAY IS WHAT IT IS THANK YOU AND HAVE A GOOD DAY.

WARNING: DO NOT TRUST RULA
With out a doubt the worst company I have ever delt with. Company stated they would only bill $39 per therapy session and did so for 11 sessions. Then the company deducted $668 from account with absolutely no warning. After that went back to charging $39 fro 2 sessions after which they then charged $640 and then 2 weeks later $178. Called several times expressed concern and was informed this was due to deductible. While the deductible was understood it was NEVER agreed to for deductible to be automatically pulled from an account. The agreement was for just $39 a visit. This company pulled funds from a young college student who reached out for mental health to only have them take all of there funds. 2 weeks later we still can not get the originally signed financial agreement. Rula stated they would refund if there was a new card on file. Provided new card data and very very very clearly stated I did not authorize the full payment to come out of the account. Rula then deducted several small amounts to total the deductible originally taken. This company is disgusting and atrocious in how they treat customers. Does nothing to individuals. Not to mention when a person is seeking help they lie offer help and then take all there money with ZERO warning. How does this help someone struggling? this hurts people so much more. DO NOT USE RULA EVER!!!!!

Unprofessional
I find this platform's approach to patient privacy and confidentiality deeply concerning. The ability of therapists to share patient notes with one another raises serious privacy concerns and makes me question whether patients can truly start fresh when switching therapists. I am also troubled by the fact that therapists can apparently cancel appointments or discontinue services without any prior discussion or explanation to the patient.
I personally had a very disappointing experience with Richard Kepple. He canceled appointments without any advance notice, discussion, or explanation of what had gone wrong. I found this extremely unprofessional, particularly given the sensitive nature of therapy and the importance of trust and communication.
During our sessions, I also felt that he was not genuinely listening. He spent much of the time writing, appeared distracted, and offered very little meaningful input or engagement. Overall, I felt unheard and that he had little interest in understanding or addressing my concerns.
Therapy requires trust, attentiveness, professionalism, and respect for patient confidentiality. Unfortunately, my experience with both the platform and this therapist fell far short of those expectations.

Horrible customer service with absolute…
Horrible customer service with absolute no concern for or value of their clients. Would give 0 stars if I could.
I had an appointment with a newer therapist on Oct 12, 2026. Knowing I was going to be out of town camping that week and wouldn’t be able to make that appointment, I canceled the appointment well before the appointment date and time (roughly a week before). My next appointment was going to be Oct 19 at 6 PM (already 2 weeks from my previous appointment mind you, which I had already had to delay care for that long due to some life circumstances which was less than ideal). 3 days before the appointment I got a text message that I will have an appointment on Oct 12 at 6 PM. I texted back that I had canceled this appointment and it is not showing up on my bookings so I wasn’t sure why I was getting this text message, but I was concerned because no-show appointments are a $99 charge and I would not be able to show up on Oct 12.
They texted me again 1 hour before on Oct 12, while I was on vacation, telling me I had the appointment I had already canceled and told them that I had canceled. I was getting frustrated at this point and texted back that, again, I had canceled this appointment. I woke up the next morning to a text message that they had took it upon themselves to cancel ALL my upcoming appointments without my knowledge or consent. To make matters worse, my appointment slots had been taken in the time they had texted that and the time I had woken up (again I am on vacation camping). I reached out via email (there is no one you can call) and asked if anything could be done. They said they could not give me my appointment time back because someone else was scheduled at that time. Okay fair enough. But, given it was their mistake and I would have to take time off work I would not get paid for when I had already had to take off nearly a month for a foot injury, I would like a voucher for both the appointments they canceled to cover the finances I will be losing due to missing work hours. They refused. They then offered to reach out to my therapist and see if she would offer other hours but she said she would not change her schedule. They told me I could choose to “change therapists” which was very frustrating because I had really liked this therapist and wanted to work with her. I feel expecting me to change therapists from a therapist I feel is a good match because of their mistake is an extremely ridiculous and unfair ask. They essentially expected me to take the brunt of their mistake and did nothing to make it right.
I chose to terminate all services and will never be working with them again. Not only because I don’t feel valued or respected as a client, but because I don’t want to run the risk of my future appointments being canceled without my knowledge or consent, having absolutely no control over this, and having Rula do nothing to make things right for the customers they truly don’t care about or value. Truly all they care about is money. Would never recommend.
Oh on top of that, randomly after I had been trying to work out the fact they had canceled my two previous appointments, they randomly texted me they had canceled two appointments I had made in November, again, without my knowledge or consent. Same process happened there, with no sort of effort to make anything right and money being their only concern.
Will absolutely never work with them again.
UPDATE: Rula replied to this review asking me to email them and to give them an "opportunity to connect with me directly to learn more about the feedback I provided" promising they would "follow up". Having already described the situation in detail to them and having given them ample opportunities to make things right to no avail, I didn't have high hopes. However, I decided to give them the opportunity to respond just to see if they would actually do what they said or if they were just saving face (honestly though, any attempt to "make things right" at this point would just come across as an attempt to "save face" given the fact it is only coming after I made things public and after I have given them multiple opportunities beforehand to do so, but I digress). I have yet to receive any response. So their reply is clearly to save face and the fact they didn't address any of the concerns I brought publicly, to me, feels calculated rahter than because of "patient confidentiality", because I have already made much of this known to the public. Not to mention, they could respond to concerns I brought up without revealing details of the interaction. Anyway, just wanted to add that update since I cannot respond to their reply.
This company does not care about clients and only cares about money and their image. Would not recommend working with them.

I am disgusted
I am disgusted. I chose a therapist with 15 years experience who seemed very compassionate in her bio: Tamara Boyer. She was late to the 1st appt, asked questions while distracted and not making eye contact. When I explained what brought me in she asked for more details on the trauma and I said that I wanted to create more safety before going into details. She was upset that she couldn't fill out her insurance paperwork with enough vivid details and said I should look for a better match. The appointment lasted about 5 mintes. What. I immediately reached out to Rula and I'm waiting 27 minutes to talk to a real person.

I have been a patient with Rula for…
I have been a patient with Rula for nearly two years and have been prescribed Zoloft through their providers for approximately a year.
I recently ran out of my medication abruptly. I was previously assured by my provider that if this ever happened, I could simply reach out and request a refill. Despite following those exact instructions and contacting my provider numerous times, **I have now been without my medication for TWO WEEKS.**
I am experiencing alarming physical and psychological withdrawal symptoms from abruptly discontinuing a significant dose of a medication I have been taking consistently.
I have reached out to both my provider and Rula's support team repeatedly, only to be told to continue waiting or go to the hospital if I need immediate medical attention.
**This is genuinely some of the most unprofessional and concerning healthcare I have ever received.** I trusted this company with my mental health, followed my provider's instructions, and have now been left to deal with the consequences of an abrupt medication interruption without adequate support.
I do not currently have health insurance, and being told to seek emergency medical care rather than having my prescription concerns promptly addressed is beyond frustrating.
At this point, it feels as though Rula is more concerned with collecting payments than ensuring its patients receive consistent, responsible care.
I am incredibly disappointed, frustrated, and genuinely frightened by this experience. No patient should have to fight this hard for continuity of care with medication they have been prescribed for an extended period.
**I would strongly caution anyone considering Rula to take my experience into account.**
