Constant Failures, Not Fit for Commercial Use — Avoid If You're Running a Clinic
’ve had the Gen 1 Plunge for just under two years and it has been nothing but a disappointment. From the beginning, I experienced pump issues, poor circulation, electrical inconsistencies, and now a total failure — the chiller turns on, but there is no water flow and the power bank is completely dead. I operate a professional wellness clinic, and this unit was marketed as being suitable for commercial use. It is absolutely not. The design is flimsy, the internal components are unreliable, and it’s simply not built for consistent or professional use. It has cost me lost revenue, time, and repeat interruptions to my client offerings. Support has been hit-or-miss, and despite multiple complaints and repairs, I’m now at the point of having to replace the entire unit. I’m also filing a formal complaint with Consumer Protection Ontario for selling a product that is not fit for its marketed purpose. If you’re running a business or clinic — stay away from this product. Look for a real commercial-grade plunge. This one is not it.

Moe, Thank you for sharing your experience. We completely understand how disruptive equipment issues can be, especially in a professional setting where clients and operations depend on consistency. Downtime is never ideal, and we take that impact seriously. Looking at your account, it appears you’ve had a couple of problems over the past few years and one of those was resolved with the recommended water pump cleaning. We recognize how frustrating even those few disruptions can be when you're running a business. That said, based on the current situation, your Plunge does not need to be replaced. It looks like the issue can be resolved with a new pump transformer, a part that’s simple to replace and should have your unit running smoothly again. We appreciate you bringing these concerns to light, and we’re here to support you with next steps and solutions to get things back on track. – The Plunge Team
