I would not buy a Plunge All-In Ever. Bought my plunge all-in 2 years ago. The filter housing/pressure weep line sprung a leak within 9 months. it was a major hassle to fix under warranty. they said they gave me new updated filter housing because of past issues. the new system leaked again in the second year. now they charge over $100 just to talk with them about it, and then it will cost nearly $1500 to fix. there are many reports of this online just google filter housing issue plunge all-in. so basically since they won't take ownership of a poor design it would cost me $1500/year probably in an ongoing manner in best case scenario to keep this thing active. the customer service said they won't talk with me anymore because I want them to take ownership and fix it or refund me or I will need to pursue a legal claim. I would never recommend this product!

Defective Unit and No Customer Support
Short version: do not buy from this company. The unit will likely break, and when it does, Plunge customer service will not help. I even bought the extra warranty up front; did not matter.
Much longer version: I typically do not write reviews. But after spending thousands on a defective unit, and experiencing horrendous customer service, I feel compelled to warn you good people.
I meticulously maintained my unit. After less than 6 months of use, it stopped working. I attempted to contact customer service. First, they do not provide a number to call for product support. You can call their sales team, and a live person will answer, but they will tell you they cannot help with product defects. Instead, they make you submit a request through their portal. After completing the 20-step portal process, uploading pictures and video, and answering all their questions, I received another email asking for info I already submitted.
I then answered over a dozen more of their emails. The only way a live person will talk to you is by setting up a meeting with a support person; it will probably be several days away. When the meeting time arrived, their meeting system did not work half the time (e.g., technical glitches), or the support person did not show up to the meeting.
When I finally spoke to someone, they were not interested in actually diagnosing why the unit was not working. Instead, they shuffled me around different “departments.” First, it was someone from the support team, then from the “success” team, then the escalation team. The most I got was a promise they would speak with the “engineering” team. But they would not let me speak directly with the elusive engineering team, who apparently makes decisions on whether Plunge will repair a defective product.
Finally, I received an email that the engineering team would approve sending a replacement unit if I confirmed replacing the filter every 30 days. I did that. Great. Well, not so fast. I explained to them that I had only used Plunge filters provided with the new unit, that I had changed the filter at least every 30 days, and that there had been multiple months of non-use (during which I drained and then later refilled and installed a new filter according to their recommendations). Thus, it did not make sense that they wanted proof of an additional filter purchase. But the person on the phone said I just needed to send some proof that I bought more filters, and they would send a replacement unit.
I sent them a screenshot of filters I previously bought on Amazon, that had great reviews, and that specifically said they were designed and approved for use in a Plunge Pro Chiller (the unit at issue). I was planning to use those next, but the unit stopped working before that. Again, I had not yet used these filters, as I was still using the Plunge-provided filters for the less than 6 months of use up to that point.
Plunge quickly responded to the screenshot saying that my claim was denied because I used the wrong filter. They were clearly looking for any reason to not do the right thing and fix a broken unit. I explained to them again about the timing of filter replacements, periods of non-use, and how I had replaced the filter with a Plunge-provided filters at least every 30 days of use. They did not care. Now, they appear to be ignoring me entirely.
Suffice it to say, it is extremely frustrating to spend thousands on a cold plunge that does not work. I should have researched Plunge more before buying. The reviews on their website are positive, but I suspect they curate those to their advantage. Reddit, Trust Pilot, and other sites detail similar customer experiences.
Don’t make the same mistake I did. Buy from a better company.

Less than 2 years ago I bought The Plunge air. A month ago the chiller stopped working due to pump failure. I had to pay &135 to have them troubleshoot only to find out I need to spend $4,000 to replace the defective chiller. I would NOT recommend a $4,000 product that has a 1-year warranty and dies in less than 2 years.

I purchased my Plunge in August 2023…
I purchased my Plunge in August 2023 and was very happy with it until recently. Unfortunately, on August 23rd, the motor stopped working. Thankfully, I had purchased the XCover 3-year warranty at the time of purchase, expecting that it would provide peace of mind if something went wrong.
I contacted Plunge customer support, provided the requested pictures and videos, and they confirmed that the motor had failed. I was then directed to file a claim with XCover. Nearly two months later, I have yet to receive a single response from the warranty company.
When I followed up with Plunge, I was told they could not do anything further to assist with my claim. My only options are to wait indefinitely for a response from XCover or purchase the replacement equipment myself at a cost of more than half of what I originally paid for the entire unit, hoping that the warranty company will eventually agree to reimburse me.
While I was initially very pleased with my Plunge, this experience has been incredibly disappointing. A warranty is supposed to provide peace of mind and protection when a product fails, not leave a customer without a working product for months with no communication or resolution.
As a physician who owns a wellness and longevity practice, I have recommended Plunge to numerous patients and even featured the company under the “Products We Love” section of our practice website. I made those recommendations because I believed in the product and felt confident standing behind it.
Unfortunately, this experience has significantly changed my opinion. I will be removing Plunge from our website and can no longer confidently recommend it to my patients when the warranty process has left me without a functioning product and no clear path to resolution.
It is truly disappointing when a company whose product you have genuinely enjoyed leaves you feeling unsupported when something goes wrong. The quality of a company’s customer service and its handling of warranty issues matter just as much as the product itself. I hope Plunge and XCover take situations like this more seriously and improve the experience for their customers.

Plunge horror
Purchasing The plunge was an exciting experience. I enjoyed it thoroughly for the first year. The second year has been a disaster. I ordered new filters when they arrived. I was excited to put them in unfortunately they didn’t fit. They sent me a second batch of filters and they did not fit. They tried to tell me that the housing orifice was warped. It is not warped. I measured the filters old and new with a caliper. The new filters are sized differently than the original filters that came with the tub. They want me to spend $1800 fixing the filter housing that doesn’t need to be fixed. Their warranty is crap. It is done by third-party buyer. Beware it is the worst customer support I’ve ever experienced in my lifetime. I have nothing good to say about their product. Shame on them. I am looking for something new.

Not happy with warranty
Not happy with warranty. One year and the all in one cold plunge is already leaking. Purchased the warranty and its been a joke. I have to pay their invoice for repairs and than submit to a third party in hopes to get reimbursement. One year and the warranty repair that plunge is charging is $1800. So they don't warranty their products. They hire a third party insurance company to possible reimburse you. Wish I new rhis before spending 24k with them. One year and already leaking.

My 5 Star Review :(
I wish there was a way to get actual support from Plunge as it relates to their warranty partner. I purchased my unit approximatly two years ago with the extended warranty (5 or 6 years I think). The warranty is useless and plunge does nothing to resolve the frusterations. I have been without my unit for SIX MONTHS in need of a new chiller and no resolution has been accomplished. When I finally got someone from plunge on the phone, they said they would fix it immediately if I gave them a 5 star review. You can probably guess how I responded. Their customer service is unethical.

Absolutely terrible customer service
Absolutely terrible customer service. AI chat bots, support teams from call centers reading off scripts. Buy one, it's great, until it isn't, then good luck figuring out why it stopped working or finding someone to help. I had to pay nearly $200 for a support call, yes, you have to pay to get help, and I've been trying to schedule the call for MONTHS! They did call once, at 6am, but I missed the call. Don't buy!
