Love my XL cold plunge! Getting an ice bath installed at the house has been great for my marathon training and overall daily routine. For those in warm climates, my plunge stays at 39 degrees and I’m in Austin, TX. It’s easy to clean and recommend changing the filters every couple months. I’m excited to upgrade to the all in once I move houses. Would deff buy again.

Literally life altering
I’ve been using this cold plunge tub regularly for over a year now, and I wanted to share my honest experience. Initially, I was skeptical—wondering if it was just another trendy wellness fad. But after consistent use, I can genuinely say it’s been transformative for my chronic back pain, something I’ve struggled with my entire life. Regular plunging has noticeably reduced inflammation and discomfort, and I’m feeling better than I have in years.
Setup was surprisingly easy, and the tub itself looks very elegant on the deck—far better aesthetically than others I’ve seen. The build quality is solid, and it’s super easy to maintain. It’s compact enough to fit comfortably in my space, and the cooling mechanism has performed reliably. I also appreciate how quick it is to reach and maintain the right temperature.
If you’re considering a cold plunge for health benefits, particularly for muscle soreness and chronic pain management, I truly believe it’s worth a try. It’s not magic, and consistency is key, but for me, the results have been incredibly positive.

Quite simply the best.
Quite simply, the best in the game. I’ve had my plunge for 4 years and haven’t had a single issue with it. These things are bulletproof. It’s become a part of my daily routine. As a former athlete and someone who stays active, the recovery benefits are significant. Not only that, I feel much more mentally locked in on days I Plunge.

We’ve put commercial maxes in 2 different locations and seen incredible response from our customer base. Plunge has been super helpful with DOH questions and overall support.

Our company has purchased multiple plunges from Plunge and within not even a year every single chiller on every single plunge has broken. This has left us without functioning plunges for weeks at a time severely impacting our business. The filters are also poor design and ineffective, leading to multiple maintenance issues. To top it all off the customer service is almost non-existent. It takes multiple follow-ups to get a response or to even get the ball rolling on getting the problem solved. The quality and support from Plunge has been shockingly horrible — do not under any circumstances buy your plunges from them go to another company

Do not spend your money
Do not spend your money. The product is great but it is poorly made. So research the transformer and the water pump frequently go out. They are made in Dubai and replacing them are expensive. I have had my plunge 6 months and my ink bird went out in first 39 days and my transformer and water pump are out now 6 mo in. I see on Reddit this is frequent issue with product.
Spend a little extra money on a different brand.
Mine has t even been exposed to any elements I can’t image if it was outside.

Hi Nancy,
We really appreciate you taking the time to share your experience, and we're sorry to hear that you've run into multiple issues with your Plunge. We know how frustrating that can be, especially when you’re just trying to stay consistent with your routine.
While occasional part failures can happen, as with any system that runs 24/7, it’s definitely not the experience we aim to deliver. We also want to clarify that our products are not manufactured in Dubai, and we don’t have any production partners there. That said, we’re grateful you reached out when things went wrong, and we’re glad we were able to cover your repairs under the warranty.
We stand behind our product and are committed to making things right when issues come up. If anything else ever comes up, we’re here to help however we can.

Frustrating and Disappointing Experience – Not What You’d Expect for $8K
I ordered my Plunge on March 5th, spending a total of $8,387.92—$7,990 for the unit and $165.92 for checkout protection in case anything arrived damaged. I was genuinely excited about this purchase, but the entire experience has been incredibly frustrating and disappointing.
When the unit arrived on March 13th, the shipping company didn’t deliver it to the location I specified—they just dropped it at my front door. No call, no setup. When I inspected it, I noticed visible scratches on the unit. For something that cost me this much, that’s unacceptable.
I had to rent a skid out of my own pocket just to move it to the correct spot. I followed the installation instructions, and within two hours, I noticed water on the floor. I opened the unit and found it was leaking from the heat exchanger.
I contacted support immediately. At first, they offered a credit or a replacement—but that quickly changed to a warranty repair and a $500 refund. A technician came on April 10th (nearly a month after delivery), and while he was great and professional, the unit started leaking again just a few hours after he left.
That was the breaking point. I asked to return the Plunge, and was told I’d have to cover shipping and a 15% restocking fee. After pushing back, they agreed to waive the restocking fee—but still insisted I pay for shipping.
This whole situation has been completely unacceptable. I paid a premium price for what was supposed to be a high-quality product, but ended up with a damaged and defective unit, had to deal with delays, repairs that didn’t solve the issue, and now I’m expected to pay more to return it?
If you’re thinking about buying this, be aware of the risks and how little responsibility the company takes when things go wrong. I really wanted to love this product, but the experience has been nothing but stress, cost, and disappointment.

Hi Jessy,
Thank you for taking the time to share such a detailed review. We’re truly sorry that your experience with Plunge didn’t go as expected.
You’re absolutely right to expect more, and we completely understand how frustrating it must have been to receive a leaking unit, especially after the delivery was not handled properly. The All-In includes in-home delivery, and had we been made aware at the time, we would have immediately worked with our delivery partner to resolve that issue.
When a unit arrives not functioning properly, it’s our priority to make it right under our warranty. In this case, that meant scheduling a technician to complete the repair and also offering a $500 refund due to the marks on the chiller. We’re sorry that the repair didn’t hold, as it's uncommon for repairs to be unsuccessful.
While our return policy does require customers to cover shipping and a restocking fee when choosing to return a product that is repairable, we made an exception by waiving the restocking fee given the poor experience and initial issues on arrival. We know this wasn’t the experience you were hoping for, and we sincerely apologize for the stress and inconvenience it caused.
We’re grateful you gave Plunge a try, and while this didn’t turn out as planned, we do appreciate your feedback. It helps us improve both our service and communication going forward.

I was initially sold on the product by…the website reviews.
I was initially sold on the product by reading all of the reviews on the company's website. I purchased my Plunge and standard chiller in December. Within weeks, I complained about the high-pitch sound the chiller was making. Now the chiller as stopped working. I have reached out to Plunge Support several times to only be asked the same questions and have to send the same pictures and videos. I also purchased the extended warranty which I am realizing was a waste of money. For the cost of this product, this has been a horrible experience.

Hi Trae,
Thank you for sharing your experience. We’re really sorry for the frustration this caused.
When problems like this come up, our team does require photos and videos as part of the remote troubleshooting process. We know it can feel repetitive, but this documentation is essential, not just for diagnosing the issue quickly and accurately, but also to process any necessary warranty replacements. It helps us ensure we're providing the right solution as efficiently as possible.
We’re glad we were ultimately able to get your chiller replaced and get you back to plunging. Our goal is to support our customers and stand behind our product when things don’t go as planned.
Thanks again for your patience and for being part of the Plunge community.
