Buyer Beware
Buyer Beware. This has been one of the worst customer service experiences I’ve ever had. I’ve owned my Plunge for a relatively short period of time, and it has experienced six major failures. Every single repair has turned into a battle. Instead of standing behind their product, I’ve had to repeatedly fight just to get warranty coverage for defects that clearly shouldn’t be happening. The repair process is incredibly slow. What should take days often drags on for weeks or even months, leaving me with an expensive piece of equipment that I can’t use. To make matters worse, Plunge has eliminated the ability to speak with someone by phone. When you have a major issue with a product that costs thousands of dollars, you’re forced into email chains with slow responses and very little accountability. The most frustrating part is that they now require a diagnostic fee that isn’t covered by the warranty, even when the failure is due to a defective component. Customers shouldn’t have to pay out of pocket just to prove that a product failed because of a manufacturing defect. I didn’t buy a cold plunge expecting perfection. I understand that mechanical equipment can have issues. What I did expect was a company that would stand behind its product and honor its warranty without making customers jump through hoops every single time. After six catastrophic breakdowns, countless hours spent dealing with customer service, and repeated warranty disputes, I cannot recommend Plunge to anyone. There are simply too many other companies in this space that value their customers and provide better support. Think carefully before spending your money here.
