Terrible support
I bought a first generation cold plunge and there have been two issues in the first 2.5 years. The support for the product is terrible. It has been three weeks and my issue remains unresolved and it is largely from a lack of response and caring from this team. I got an initial response and sent in videos and it took two weeks to hear back that they think I need a new pump and would I like an invoice and instructions. Well, yes I would but why has it been a week since that response and I still don’t know pricing or how I would fix this. DO NOT BUY

Plunge repair support is terrible
Plunge repair support is terrible. Everytime I have a problem with my unit the support process changes, which tends to be about every 6 months! The current repair process requries you to submit a repair ticket. But, you have to have an external warranty ticket number from XCover in order for the the process to move forward. Older customers like me aren't registered with XCover. If you aren't registered with XCover then the process ends. Also, if you try to set up a call for assitance you have to schedule one and they are weeks out from any open times. I did have commumications with a gentleman at repairs@plunge but he kept asking the same troubleshooting questions over and over. It seems like they have no idea what they are doing. And now I haven't recieved any further word from him for over 4 days. I advise you to find a cold plunge that has better customer service...someone you can actually talk to immediately.

Developed a leak about a month after…
Developed a leak about a month after installed. I have been trying for 6 weeks to get it repaired. Unable to talk with anyone in support. Sales staff answers phone and says to fill out online support request. This results in 2-3 day delay with subsequent request for photos and videos. After submitting these they ask for more videos that appear unrelated to the issue. They want to see where plugged in. Then they send a part to me after another 10 days. The problem is- not the area where the leak is located so still leaking. Start process over. They ask for more videos but the email bounces back saying not monitored and need to start a new ticket. Probably another 2 weeks before they will respond. Beyond frustrated. May try to send the whole thing back for a refund and try a better company.

The Reviews are here to help you!
Before you buy from Plunge, PLEASE do your homework.
Go to BBB and Trustpilot and filter for the 1-star reviews.... not the glowing early reviews, because I wrote one of those once too.
Then ask yourself one question: if something goes wrong with my unit, does this sound like a company that will make it right?
And based on those reviews, things do go wrong. More than you'd expect for a product at this price point.
I've been a Plunge customer for several years. Over that time I experienced MULTIPLE product failures that Plunge serviced, under a warranty they later claimed didn't exist.
When I pushed back, I was met with silence. I emailed the CEO directly, multiple times, and never received a single response.
My only option was small claims court.
I represented myself. Plunge sent an attorney from Lewis Brisbois, a national law firm, to argue against me. The judge awarded me $5,000. Plunge has since appealed.
I'd be curious if you do the math on what that lawyer cost versus simply honoring a warranty.
I'm sharing this not to relitigate anything, but because the pattern matters. Read how Plunge responds to complaints on those review sites, not just that complaints exist. On the positive reviews you'll often see an enthusiastic "thank you, we love our customers." The negative ones are frequently left without a response at all. They know these reviews exist. That silence is a choice.
One last thing: Plunge blocked me on Instagram and removed my comments directing people to those same BBB and Trust Pilot reviews. So when you're scrolling through and things look mostly positive, understand that the negative comments and anyone saying "check BBB or Trustpilot" have been actively removed. What you're seeing is a curated version of reality.
Then ask yourself: is this a company you want to deal with if something goes wrong?

The Plunge Support System is…
The Plunge Support System is infuriating. There is no way to reasonably get in touch with a live human being. I submitted my service tickets and have waited months to get anything repaired more than once. I cannot even schedule a customer service phone call for over a week. I received an email from support asking for specific feedback, responded, then got an email stating "this email inbox it unmonitored." I wish I had never purchased plunge. Addendum-it is now 7/3/2026 and we are still waiting to hear back from plunge repair to schedule a repair with their team.

spent 10k on this useless plastic tub
I spent approximately $10,000 on this system because I wanted a high-quality product that would last. There were much cheaper options available, but I believed paying a premium would mean receiving a better product and dependable support. Unfortunately, that has not been my experience.
The unit was delivered near the end of summer 2024, so I did not have an opportunity to install and use it until 2025. Once I began using it, I encountered several problems. I contacted customer support and attempted to troubleshoot the issues, but we were never able to reach a resolution.
I followed up again in the spring of 2026, and since then, my calls and support requests have gone unanswered. The company states that it responds within 24 to 48 hours, but that has not been the case for me.
My biggest complaint is not simply that the system broke. Products sometimes have problems, and I understand that. The real issue is that when something goes wrong, there appears to be no reliable service or support available. This is not a standard appliance that can easily be repaired by a local plumber or technician. Without assistance from the manufacturer, the customer is essentially stuck with an extremely expensive plastic tub that cannot be properly used.
At this point, I may be forced to purchase an entirely new system—not because this one cannot necessarily be repaired, but because the company will not respond or help me determine what is wrong.
Before purchasing, understand that the true value of a premium product is not only the product itself, but the service available when something goes wrong. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend spending buying the plunge all in one cold plunge. There are many competing products available, including less expensive options, from companies that may provide more dependable customer support.
