I’m surprised at all the criticisms on this site. I believe that if anything goes wrong the reviewers are very quick to complain, which in a way is understandable because we’re dealing with medications here. On the other hand, because PillPack is dispensing drugs I trust that they have sufficient quality controls or they’d quickly be done in by lawsuits. Over many months I’ve never had an error in my shipments, which always arrive on time. PillPack takes the laboring oar in getting refills and that saves me the headache. The reason I docked a star is because they will only do 30-day supplies, which has a higher copay than 90-day supplies.

If I could leave zero stars I would. I’ve been using pillpack for 5 months and every month since my second refill has had mistakes. Dates are wrong, prescriptions are wrong, amounts are wrong, they are trying to contact a provider at my dr office who is not listed on my account or the dr who approved the prescription who I’ve asked them to stop contacting, they claim they didn’t get a refill but I spoke with my dr on the phone and have an email confirmation that they did in fact send a refill. They keep chat logs and still can seem to get it together. Do yourself and favor and find another pharmacy, this has been noting but a headache. Also, because of their mistakes I’ve had half prescriptions filled, or what they call a “bridge”, and because of that I’ve been charged my copay more than I would have been had they gotten their act together. So I officially broke up with them today, it was not me, it was them, and they deserved it. I don’t know why they only have good reviews listed on their website, false advertisement, they are garbage.

Yikes, placed a medication on HOLD via their website in June and it was still shipped in July 2020. The unfortunate part, the wrong prescription was shipped and billed, claiming the doctor was the one at fault. Cheaper through GoodRX for a 90 day supply. Will not go back and I will make an effort to share this experience with others. In theory it was great for about 5 months and then the cost was too high. The Doctor/ Pharmacist communication sucks a big donkey tail.

Customer support doesn't care at all. Just wait to see what happens when they ship your medications and they get lost. They immediately blame the carrier and you are completely stuck trying to refill your medications at a local store. You will be extremely sorry that you used them. No empathy from support and managers will not call you back. One time they didn't ship my correct medications in my pack and blamed me for the error and told me that their packing machine cannot make a mistake. They then went back and reviewed their images, and realized they had failed. Just think what could happen to someone receiving the wrong meds! Both of the times I needed support, they immediately began by blaming me rather than taking responsibility. Find a different provider.

If zero stars were an option that would be my rating. I NEVER do reviews but the last straw just happened when they failed to send my mother-in-law's pack in time. She has advanced dementia and the least little thing can throw her off. I am cancelling, not an easy decision as she takes 12 meds/day and 4 times a day. However, I cannot run this risk again! The previous 3 months were somewhat of a hassle to coordinate... but this is the point of unacceptable!

Every single person complaining about the price... You do know that it is your insurance provider that tells them what to charge right? PillPack does have some issues. But they do always do their best in correcting them as quickly and efficiently as possible.

I’ve used PillPack for about a month now, and it’s been a horrible experience. I spoke with my doctor and we decided not to transfer the prescription, but PillPack went ahead and transferred it anyway and shipped me out a months supply, with no notice. They also never sent a receipt, so I only knew this when it showed up at my door. The dates were also incorrect about when I actually need them. So this month, I got an email from UPS that I shipped, again, no receipt. Delivery date was 6/22, and I figured I would have it by 6/24 when I needed it. Delivery date STILL says 6/22 and it’s 6/26 now. PillPack said they’d send a weeks prescription to my pharmacy, I tried to pick it up and they didn’t have it. Called again and the woman I spoke with was extremely rude. I asked her what pharmacy it was sent to and she kept saying she didn’t know but it was done. Which made no sense that she couldn’t see where they sent it. I called again and got another rep who was extremely helpful and told me right away which pharmacy it was sent to. Call my pharmacy and they weren’t able to fill it since my insurance saw PillPack filled it. Not to mention, it’s wildly wasteful. Comes in separate baggies in a huge box. Will never ever consider using this service again. Way easier to grab a medication while I’m at the grocery store and be treated with respect.

I gave PillPak 5 stars because I decided to read the reviews before giving PillPak a try. The 5 stars are for myself for reading the reviews before hand before I tried it.
