Was just told that they are behind on adding new prescriptions because of holiday delays. While I do understand holidays makes things crazy with shipping, etc. I do not understand why it is so hard for my script to go through with out me having to micro manage. This is medication for crying out loud. Early this month (December) I didn't receive my birth control, that's a very big concern, & now my diabetes medication is delayed....hmmm...I have been with PillPack since the beginning & have just recently been having issues. Now that regular pharmacies are offering shipping, I'll be going that route.

For the most part PILLPACK is reliable but on 3 occasions I never received my shipment of medications even thought the tracking said it had been delivered. I had to chat with them to get them to send me another shipment and claim I may have to pay out of pocket for them to resend my pills because insurance may not cover it. I know it is more the carrier's fault I did not receive my meds not PILLPACK itself but I should not be penalized because I did not receive the shipment. If PILLPACK would send my meds through the post office like I ask them to but they send it AMAZON LOGISTICS or UPS.

The service actually works well for me. I have used it for 3 months and consistently gotten the medications and supplements I signed up for. The problem is pricing. I added fish oil and Claratin (generic). Their per-pill cost is 3x what i can buy it for on Amazon - $.10-$.20/dose doesn't seem like much but it's over $100 a year. The prescriptions themselves (also generic) are around 1.5 to 2x the cost of Tom Thumb, even with my GoodRx card. I'd rather get Tom Thumb pricing and just pay an extra $5-$10/month for the convenience (and free as a Prime Member). They're still making more money than a local pharmacy because of the low overhead, so I really don't understand their strategy.
