I'm very pleased with the 3 Burundi Frontosa I ordered. They arrived at noon to my home both times with the inside of the styrofoam shipping container still warm. The fish looked healthy, alert and with great coloring. They are doing very well and a beautiful addition to my 125 tank. I highly recommend them and will definitely purchase from them in the future.

The fish arrived in a timely manner. The goods were well packaged with a heat pack. Six days after all six fish remain alive, healthy, and eating well.

Once again excellent service and very high quality animals. Don't be afraid place your order and they will get it to you safely across the country in the matter of hours.

they didn't call when they were out of the fish I wanted. Instead of calling me they text me which I don't use.( I'm 83 years old and don 't use these smart phones)So little did I know they were out of some fish that I ordered. I would have canceled the order and reordered when they were in stock. They also sent out a shipped email but really didn't ship them yet which had me confused as shipping would have taken 5 days when I had paid form over night. The one thing in their favor the fish came in good shape. Now I wait until they send my refund back. I do know I will never buy another fish from them

Norman, thanks for your order. We did indeed call a handful of times but nowadays many people don't pickup phone calls from unrecognizable numbers so we shoot over a text in addition to a phone call if we cannot successfully reach via the traditional phone call method. We apologize as all the fish are in stock except the Synodontis Cats you ordered and we did not want to send out a partial order right away without getting a confirmation from you or giving you the option of substituting for another similar fish or something of similar value. One of our teammates will reach out shortly to you via phone. We apologize about everything and want you to have the best experience and hope you give us a fair chance and opportunity to change your experience. =) Thanks!

I cancelled my order. Days later, petzonesd took $280 out of my bank account. No one has responded when I have asked for a refund. I cancelled my order a week ago. I have been asking for a refund all week, no refund to date. Update: I see their response. They did just finally tell me they refunded me, after I had to write this review. The amount as they stated in their response to my review does not matter, the fact that no one responded when I tried to get confirmation that I would in fact get my money back is what matters. Also the fact that they took the money out of my account AFTER I cancelled my order. Update #2: Tank you petzonesd for letting me know this. However, if any of your staff would have informed me of this a week ago instead of avoiding me, it would have saved me a week of unneeded stress, and you of a 1 star rating.

$204 was total, Brianne was unaware this was USD currency (we are an American business) and was shocked when statement showed $280 taken out (CAD is lower than USD when converted). We cancelled and refunded already; it can take 5-10 business days to reflect on your statement. The funds are processed the moment you purchase an item. When the money is "taken out," it can take 2-3 days later to process via the merchant account and bank account. We have no control over the finance activity. Your refund request came after payment was already sent. Sorry for the confusion and hope this clears things up. Also, refunds can take a few business days as we don't have control over the time duration between our processor company and your bank. We have been in business for over a decade and would not try to "scam" anyone, how would we sustain our business that we have a love and passion for? Thank you.

My fish arrived in excellent condition as well as the plants. I will definitely be buying from Pet Zone again in the future. Definitely recommend to those who are looking for a specific type of fish or plant.

one of the fish arrived dead, and 2 others died within 24 hours. 3 others seem perfectly happy.
