Ordered 2 Chinese High fin sharks for $50 each plus shipping. Both came alive but one was really stressed from the travel I guess. Although alive had a feeling it wasn't going to make it. It didn't but the other o e is doing good. So it ended up costing me 100 dollars for the 1 fish that survived I guess plus shipping of course.

Very small tetras required temporary tank to be setup until fish are large enough to go in to main tank. Size in description would’ve helped in determining whether to purchase or not. Seems a bit deceptive.

Definitely order fish from here. Good price and the shipping is fantastic.

Fish arrived healthy and overall very happy

The only good part about this experience was the initial shipping was quick and timely, and the packaging was good, which is why I was generous and gave 2 stars. I ordered 3 items, the maple leaf stone, cholla tunnel tube, and a hydrocotyle japan/tripartita plant. I understand that as a natural material, the stone would not have looked exactly like the picture, but I expected some resemblance at least. Two of the stones had minimal mineral veins and crevices, and one looks like a completely different rock altogether. (I have a major in Geology, I think I'm qualified enough to say that's not the same rock). I feel like I was given the blandest, ugliest rocks in the pile instead of a good balance of detail for their smaller size. Instead of receiving a cholla tunnel tube, I received two cholla driftwood sticks, a cheaper option. I was not charged a cheaper price. Additionally, the sticks would not have worked with my desired scaping design and so were unusable. Instead of receiving a hydrocotyle japan/tripartita plant, I received a UNS tissue culture instead. I already have snails and duckweed in my tank, so I wasn't concerned with pests and had no need for a tissue culture. Additionally, the one I received did not look healthy, many of the leaves were melting or yellowed. I'm new to this, I do NOT have the experience to nurse an aquarium plant back to health. Especially not one I paid for and received new. I was not contacted about any substitutions, nor was there anything in the product listings or checkout process that implied products might be substituted in the event of unavailability. Given that the listings didn't specify "out of stock" for either, I have to assume it was a mistake and I was sent the wrong items, which is careless. Mistakes happen, I would have been only annoyed if the issue had been fixed. Even though I was unhappy with the rocks, I decided I'd find a way to make them work. The cholla sticks and tissue culture on the other hand, needed to go. I emailed petzonesd immediately to explain my issue and ask for an exchange or refund. No reply. I even searched my inbox and checked my spam folder in case I had accidentally missed the reply. No luck. It has been over two weeks since that email, and still no reply. I ended up reordering the items from a different store, and really I should have stuck with them in the first place. I only tried petzonesd because the shipping was much cheaper. Tl;dr extremely unhappy, sent wrong items and items that were of low quality, overcharged for what I did receive, and got no reply from customer service. Never buying from this shop again.

Well, I ordered the non tissue culture Monte Carlo and got the tissue culture. I purposely didn't order the tissue culture.

They were very thorough and very communicative. They let me know they were out of what I had initially wanted, and offered a substitution. I agreed and I couldn't be happier. I got a beautiful red and white ranchu that I named Nugget. He is happy and healthy, and I look forward to working with them again.
