Well from my very first experience, I wouldn’t have rated them as high as I am now because of one reason; the same affiliation of the company is selling the exact same products on Amazon and the first Fiber Engraver ordered failed or had a factory flaw from the start. It was like pulling teeth to get it fixed or replaced once they realized it was bought from their Amazon store. Which they do have a specific coms line for that route of purchase. But if you order it directly from the company, (which is most definitely the way to go, not matter if you have to wait and extra week to get the sales call scheduled and done) you will get far better support and frontline care and service. Long story short, once I returned the Amazon purchase and got the refund I bought the same model which was the 20w Fiber Engraver this time with an upgraded 300mm F-Lens to maximize the engraving area from 4.3inches to 12in by 12in. Well worth the 100$ something dollars. All in all, when ordering directly from the company, or you get direct support service and care from everyone at the company instead of having to go through the Amazon purchase channels, if you were to buy from Amazon and their stores. Long story short I’m very happy with the results of the machine I have. Especially with the 300mm F-Lens.

Received our laser 50W. Well packaged and easy setup. Have completed a few initial projects and love our unit. We use our laser for in house swag for our taproom.

I am absolutely amazed. I bought a pre-owned omtech. There were a few defects as mentioned online when I purchased it. I emailed tech support to get prices for the parts and they shipped them at no cost. I will buy from this company again without thought. Very easy to use and was I producing quality products within a week the only laser experience I had was a 7 watt jtech on my CNC router.

Bought a 130watt 3555 in August and it was delivered within the timeline OMTECH communicated. Once I aligned the beam, the machine works well. Two weeks ago, one of the lid supports gave out. I contacted customer service and received replacements for both lid supports within a week. I have found that both the customer support and informational videos to be excellent. As with all new machines / applications, there is a bit of a learning curve. OMTECHS support has made the curve less steep for me.

I have received nothing but stellar service from OMTech staff and products. I started with the 50 Watt Co2 laser and now have the 5200 chiller to go with it and the 30 Watt fiber laser as well and have had no issues with the equipment whatsoever! The shipping and packaging are spot on as well!

Purchased a pre-owned 50W fiber laser. I have no experience with fiber laser engravers. 1. Pre-sales: Appointment to talk to a sales person would take 5 working days. Took a gamble and bought the unit without talking to a sales rep as I did not want the pre-owned unit to get sold. 2. Shipment: FedEx took 5 days from expected delivery (received 20 Oct) and found out that the crate was missing the wood top, hence the delay. Contacted Omtech customer service that same day to report slight damages and sent pictures. Today is 31 Oct and still no word from customer service on my concerns even after 2 follow up requests via text. I wanted these damages reported along with the FedEx handling issue in case there is a problem with the laser down the road due to the shipment. 3. Setup: No setup instruction specifically from Omtech. Contacted tech support by phone. Was responsive but a You tube video from a user on how to update drivers was what was provided. The video helped, but I was expecting a video made by Omtech for a professional support. After updating drivers, unit showed NOT READY. Contacted tech support by email in the morning. Called later that afternoon and requested setup instructions and I was expecting either an electronic instruction sheet or an Omtech setup video. Not of those where given but received emailed with 3 solutions. Third one solved the problem. My disappointed is I received a user manual and thumb drive but no setup instructions. Omtech should either provide setup instructions or post a You tube video specific to the fiber laser. Online resource from the company website has concentration on the CO2 lasers. Could use more information for new user on the fiber lasers.

Got a CO2 and a Fiber. CO2 is awesome so far. Fiber came damaged like they air dropped it to my front yard. Wrote and complained. Tech said "not much I can do just replace the bemt panel". Argued that I spent 3k for something new not damaged! He didn't give AF! Hit up Customer service and they hooked it up with a rotary as compensation. Fast fwd a month and not parts or rotary! Wrote em again and they said they'll get it out. I eventually got it but they sucked either way.
