OMTechReviews of omtech.com

I was interested in getting a new laser set up, looked at Omtech and say different prices all over the board. I called Omtech and got the answers I needed right away. Glad i did not buy one of the other ones that are knock offs. Customer service is excellent.

We received our 80-Watt machine well packaged and on schedule. We hope to write a positive review in the near future, but we can't get the laser activated. A couple staff members have read the instructions and watched the tutorials but have been unsuccessful in getting the machine to operate. We can't obtain a laser pulse. So far, attempting to troubleshoot with OMTECH via email has been inefficient and ineffective. We are not giving up just yet and hope to receive support by phone. However, we are not technical people so we should have done more research on our end before purchasing, to better understand the time investment should something go wrong. We will complete this review soon and make it known if the problem is due to user error. Update - We had difficulties reaching tech support. However, after a few days we were connected to a supervisor who walked through several trouble shooting steps. We got the laser operational. Our interaction with him was very positive and worthy of a high rating. We will add to the review after we use the laser for a few projects.

Everything went smoothly except... I bought the light burn software and it's not clear whether om tech is going to send me an authorization code or what. Right now I'm running on the free trial of lightburn. Everything else went good and was delivered quickly. I would have listed at five stars had that been a little clearer. 12-16-22 All is great! Received lightburn access code and we're off to the races. Software is amazing! Kudos to the 'coders' I have no experience with other software so no comparisons but with all the YouTube tutorials available it's been a fairly quick learning curve.

The machine looks solid. Ordering was very easy and communication with the company was great. 10/10 would buy from again.

I ordered the wrong laser by mistake. No problem! They quickly canceled my order and let me place a new order without hassle or extra fees. Good service!

I have ordered plastic engraving material several times, every time the order was filled and on the way within 24 hours. OMtech saved my but again.

I was hesitant yet excited about using my OmTech laser because my previous laser was plug and play out of the box, OmTech took a little work to set up and get dialed in, but boy or boy was it worth it. I love my OmTech! I'm still new with it, but I'm excited for what it can do - and that I can fix or replace nearly anything that goes wrong.

We have had our 100w 2440 laser for about 3 months, and we're very happy with it! After we added an air assist, it cuts really well without any browning. We were also pretty happy with the customer service that we got, when we had questions. ********************* It is now June 2026, and we're still very happy with our OMTech. We highly recommend this laser!
