Quality workmanship but poor customer service. Door sat on their dock and did not ship but they charged me for the balance as soon as it was done, then they forgot to send the interior trim along with it. The excuse was that they had other doors to ship that were there longer and they had to go out in order. Also, not all calls were returned.

I have purchased several doors from Nick's. All have been well made and cost a reasonable price. All were shipped on schedule, packed well and arrived in perfect condition. The doors are very attractive. 2 of the doors are exterior glass and mahogany doors that are both spectacular. My only complaint against the company is that I recently purchased a pre-hung mahogany interior door and the frame is stained poplar. Yes, the color was very well matched (I paid for their finishing) but I can easily spot that the frame is not mahogany. One of my hobbies is making furniture, so I have an eye for wood. Very few people could spot the difference. However, I would have really liked an option to pay for a mahogany frame. Notice that I still gave the company a 5 star rating, which they do honestly deserve. They are a good company, provide great service with well made, beautiful doors. Also, they are easy to deal with and 'know their stuff'.
