Garbage
I bought a switch through my gym in the middle of July. It never worked properly straight out of the box. Constantly turning off, not recording properly and I've apparently died so many times I could declare myself the second coming. So my gym exchanged it for another. This seemed to work at first then about a week in I had the same issues. Turning off and refusing to come back on. Telling me I had gone to sleep then died in the middle of a workout before springing back to life. Apparently myzone have had issues with the chest strap of the switch that were allegedly resolved. All the problems I had involved the chest strap. If I used the arm or wrist strap the switch would record although it was hugely inaccurate and would "stick". I could be pushing myself to my limit and myzone would say I was barely trying. After weeks of discussion my gym then exchanged it for an MZ3 which did not hold a charge for more than a few days although it did appear to track my workouts. I've been without a belt for several weeks until 10th November when I received another replacement MZ3. This one is really special. It doesn't like hills or stairs. I just took my dogs for a short walk of about a mile. The belt turned off and on 6 times because I dared walk up a slight slope. It doesn't like sled pushes in the gym. It stops recording but doesn't turn off. It doesn't like ball slams, they make it stick because apparently I couldn't possibly be in my max heart rate zone. But the thing it hates the most is cycling. It doesn't matter if its indoors or outdoors. It hates my spin bike and my mountain bike equally. It sticks. It turns off. It stops recording. It tells me I'm asleep and I've died. The only thing this belt seems to like is if I sit still and don't move. Then it will work just fine. So that's 4 belts in 3 months of actual use. Even I've run out of patience at this point.
