Don’t waste your money buying the Myzone switch or swatch or whatever it’s called. It always has problems picking up your heart rate regardless of where you use it. Sometimes there would be gaps in the readings whilst exercising. It distracts you from your workout whilst you’re fumbling with it as it’s not picking up your heart rate. You’ll often leave the gym feeling like you’ve not achieved your best because of this utterly useless device. You charge it, you wash it, you clean it, yet it doesn’t work. I’ve tried to contact customer support several times but I’m often left without any response. I threw it in the bin today during a blaze class at David Lloyd’s as it wouldn’t pick up my heart rate. I’m on the treadmill running and feeling like my heart would explode but the switch had my heart rate in the white zone. It’s absolutely useless.

If you do buy it second hand you can’t use it because it has already been used, and it won’t allow you to register the device as the device is already in use. Even if the first owner is deactivated it, still….

Shocking customer service in event of a problem. Have issue with a replacement device I’ve only had a month not connecting. 10 days of no device, 10 days of numerous generic auto messages from them, but no resolution and now no connect from them at all. Poor show. 👎

The customer service is appalling. My device malfunctioned within a few months. There is no customer service number to call just an email, the response time is really slow. When they did respond they suggested obvious troubleshooting that I had already done and that I read frequently asked questions rather than offering a replacement or a refund.

This system sounds great but TOTALLY does not work. It uses an algorithm of one size fits all while most athletes are not created equal. It also continually jumps from 78% to 95% while doing the same cadence and load the whole time. I am 75 years old and have a resting HR of 47 and my actual Max HR is 163. MYZone keeps raising my Max to 175-177 which I cannot possibly hit. They say they can not permanently set it at 163 where it belongs. This MZ3 is a piece of junk, save your money and sanity and DO NOT BUY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Totally inaccurate!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just buy a Garmin and avoid this company! I'm old enough to remember when the internet first became a 'thing'. I made a purchase the first week in the 1990s and I've not stopped since. Thousands of items from hundreds of businesses. But mark my words, people... the experience I've had with MyZone during the past three weeks has been the worst I've EVER had online (and I was an eBay trader for three years). My MZ-Switch stopped charging, so I contacted their customer service channels via MyZone website. No response. Tried again four days later. No response. I sent messages via Facebook and other social media they have. No response. After threatening to write reviews online, I was finally contacted by 'Elizabeth Salisbury'... a customer service rep in Australia. It was difficult to communicate with Elizabeth Salisbury because I'm in the UK and she was responding to my emails at 1am. After several days of back and forth, I finally got a return slip and was given instructions of how to post back the device etc. I did exactly what was asked of me the following day and sent the requested 'proof of delivery'. Guess what has happened since I posted back the faulty device on 7th September (11 days and counting)? Nothing. No response to any emails or messages via any platform. Elizabeth Salisbury stopped replying the moment I sent back the faulty MZ Switch. This is the worst experience I've ever had online. Honestly, if someone from MyZone is reading this then please take me at my word when I tell you this: "Keep the device. I no longer want it. Losing £139.99 is better than having to deal with you guys. I will never use your disgusting company ever again and I will advise every single one of the 600,000 members I have on my Facebook fitness group to avoid you like the proverbial plague. Based on how many people report MyZone data on my FB group, I have probably created well over $20,000 of business for you in the past six years by using MyZone as the preferred devices. And THIS is how you treat customers? Astounding." Take my word for it, guys. Just save up some extra money and by a Garmin. I've used MyZone for ten years and never again. Peace.

I got my MZ - 1 from Snap Fitness in Dubai and about 3 weeks later it started to get faulty. The amount of frustration I was dealing with on an everyday basis was beyond comprehension. I have reached out to Customer Service and LUCKY did I get assigned to Melissa. She was extraordinary to say the very least! She was in touch with me on a daily basis to help me manage my frustration, make me feel heard and support me through the process of resolving the problem. At the time of the issue, I was in Bali where a replacement could not be delivered to. So I flew to Singapore and Melissa organised a replacement device to be sent to Singapore without me needing to go through a painful replacement process. The new device works perfectly, the App is fixed and everything works exactly as it should. I use my device daily, feel connected to my gym community in Dubai despite being in another country right now and I am SO happy. Thank you so much Melissa for being such a superstar! Thank you Myzone for contributing to building a global gym community! ❤️
