I’ve been a Myzone user since May 2019, first the MZ-3 then bought the Switch this year. Like most here, nothing but bother with it since I got it. To get it to switch on, you have to put it on in the shower, then it freezes and switches off during workouts. Only saving grace is Myzone customer service, the switch is currently enroute back to be replace. Fingers crossed replacement is better

This is probably one of the most unreliable technologies that I have purchased in recent times. When it works, it seems to be fine. Even after moistening the electrodes, sometimes it takes more than 30 minutes to get going. Next time, I will dunk it in water. My advice - look for alternatives if you are looking for such a device.

Dont waste your money on this App. I bought my first myZone on Aug 20, 2020. Within 6 months, the device wouldn't charge. My gym was graceful and gave me a replacement. The new one lasted until today when I finally threw it in the garbage. It wouldn't connect even at 99%. I'm a regular at my gym, earning just over 110 000 MEPs (myZone's effort counting system) in 370 calendar days. The equipment clearly cant handle regular use. Do not waste your money on this App.

I'm now on my 2nd replacement monitor/belt and once again after 4 months of use the monitor has no charge and will not charge up. Completely dead. When working out I really like the colour zones and find it motivating but this product is just too unreliable. Also it's so hard to get any support when things go wrong as you have to go through to the 'BOT" which then sends a ticket to a real person who then emails you about 10 days later. When I organised a replacement it took months to arrive. I'd avoid and go with a Garmin. EDITED 2nd Jan 2022: My 6th (!) replacement has once again completely died after 16 workouts. I'm looking after it exactly as MyZone suggest. I would just go with another monitor but the Club I work at uses MyZone for classes so no choice. It's ridiculous!

Absolutely terrible monitor. Losses connection and drops or freezes heart rate regularly making it almost useless during training. Malfunctions and adds in calories data randomly through a work out, often shows a heart rate of zero we when training or when maxing out a rate of 40 ! Total waste of money, unreliable piece of junk.

I have been using MZ products since 2018. I love the concept and what it tries to achieve, which is why I guess I (stupidly) stick with them. I recently purchased the MZ Switch after my original MZ stopped working after 3 years. The switch was working fine for many weeks then all of a sudden, same issues as the original MZ…… HR keeps freezing no matter whether I am running on a treadmill, cycling outdoors or doing a gym class with MZ screens. It will sit low in the grey whilst I am sprinting (for example), then when I finish the sprint it will jump to yellow for a few seconds then back down. Sadly the concept and idea of MZ is not matched by their technology which seems to be poor at best.

Still giving myzone a 5, because i have been a user for many years. I am on my third device, and got the Switch. I am very unhappy with it. It does not work on the wrist or arm so I had to revert to the chest. I would not have bought it as the other functionality is the only reason I purchased it. Worked ok for several months and now I cannot get the device to pick up on bluetooth. Very upsetting when you look forward to tracking your workout and are unable to record your hard efforts. Charged my old one up and will be using that.

Upgraded to Myzone switch and have had nothing but problems with it. it is very annoying when you are giving 100% effort and would expect to see results in the high yellows and reds at around 90%+ effort and then to see the results coming in at 50% greys, greens and blues. I could be working out hard doing a cardio exercise for say an hour but the myzone would only record 20 minutes. I have gone back to using the old myzone but with the experience i have with myzone customer services is very very poor in this day and age i would expect much better customer service. i have supported myzone and have enjoyed wearing it however i have got to the point where i am almost going to chuck them away... being part of the myzone community is really nice but its a matter of principal. you buy somethign you expect it to work 100% and if it doesnt you need someone to listen and replace wear appropriate. im really disappointed Myzone.... ive already tried to contact myzone customer support and have heard nothing back from you. if you had come back to me i wouldnt be wasting my time writing a bad review.
