Great phones and service!
So many negative and ignorant comments. I am the GM of all MetroPCS Authorized Dealer locations in Abilene, TX. All three of mine stay in the Top 5 stores in West Texas out of 54. I do want to clear up a few things from what I have read: 1. There was/still is an issue with the Allocation Warehouses that dealers NATIONWIDE receive their devices from. The warehouse relocation began about the first week in April. So know that it was and still is affecting us here in Texas, also, and that the Reps you spoke to were actually being honest. I'm sorry all that is such an inconvenience. 2. Yes, you can only request 2 - 48 hour extensions every month AFTER your service has been suspended. Why? You ask. Simply because MetroPCS is a PREPAID service. You pay for service 30 days in advance. Your phone becomes suspended when that 30 days is up because that is what you paid for. The extensions you receive are a "gracious favor" they provide, even though the service you receive those day are not paid for yet. 3. There are many MetroPCS Customer Care call centers around the world. There are some in OHIO, VIRGINIA, AND TEXAS (just to name a few). THEY ARE NOT JUST IN FOREIGN COUNTRIES. It's random who you get connected to. Stop being so rude and ignorant. Hear them out, and let them help you. They are ALL trained the exact same way, and everyone is human and makes mistakes at home and YES... at work, too, just like you. 4. Let the reps do their jobs. As adults, we should all know by now, that there isn't one thing in the world that is 100% free. Which brings ups back to the PREPAID subject. You will get a free device is you are eligible to, but will be paying to your 30 days, activations, and tax at the time of the service becoming active. IF YOU ARE STARTING SERVICE AND QUESTION THE TOTAL, HAVE THE REP EXPLAIN THE CHARGES, DONT HAND THEM MONEY, LEAVE THE STORE, AND ASK WHY 3 OR 5 DAYS LATER. 5. ALL PROMOTIONS ARE FOR A LIMITED TIME! TAKE ADVANTAGE OF THEM WHILE THEY ARE AVAILABLE. 6. Your locate MetroPCS Authorized Dealer locations around any one of you should be able to help you in anyway possible when it comes to your MOBILE needs, and if they aren't, they do deserve to be put on blast. I hope this clears up some things for everyone. I wish you all lived near my stores so I could make everything right for y'all. I'm sorry some you had negative experiences. Maybe one day you will try MetroPCS again!
