My most recent experience occurred when the blue light flashed and a beautiful butterfly landed on it. I have not had to use my guardian for an emergency but I wear it all the time, and among my friends, I am the o ly one who does so. I learned from a friend who took off her guardian and relied on her phone until the day she fell and lay on the floor for hours with her phone on the table. My necklace is always on me!

We have traveled all around the U.S., including Hawaii, and thankfully we have not had to use my wife's Medical Guardian. We have tested it at various times and places and it has worked every time. She dropped it one day and the fall detector set it off and asked if she needed help. We easily canceled the "fall". It makes it much easier for me to leave the house for short periods of time knowing she is wearing her Medical Guardian device.

Recently the charging cradle no longer charged my unit & I contacted Medical Guardian for a replacement. The representative I spoke with was very nice & told me I should have the equipment the following day; however 2 days later I had to call back as I hadn't received my unit & hadn't received a follow up call. The representative I spoke with was very nice & I was told I should have replacement equipment the following day; however I ended up without a working unit for a week but was still charged for it & I had to call back once again to ask what to do with the non working cradle & was told I would need to send it back. While everyone I spoke with was very nice I feel as though the follow up was lacking on their part.

My Mom has used Medical Guardian numerous times over the several years. Definitely saved her life. She fell a couple of weeks ago and her Fall Detection button did not go off. Luckily I happened to stop by and found her walker in one room and she had crawled to the living room and was getting her phone. MG sent a new button. It does seem like it is taking longer now for MG to answer to get a real person when the button is pushed. Maybe lack of help… I feel MG has saved my Mom’s life more than once and older people who live along should get MG. You never know when you may fall or someone may try to break into your home. I do recommend MG!
