I love the fact you can be in contact with the call canter from wherever you happen to be. But I have had too many alarms just by leaning over and unknowingly sending an alarm, depressing the button twice and holding does not always cancel. I have had the emergency crew here without knowing the alarm was sent. Yes, they do call but I cannot always hear the phone. I had just gotten out of the bath and heard the doorbell and to my surprise the fire department and the paramedics were there. I have decided that if I set off the alarm I will not follow the procedure for cancelling the call, I will wait and talk to the center so my family will not be alarmed and they will not call out the troops.

I am a 92 year old man living by himself and I pushed the button, I was blessed at the rapid response. It's nice to know that help is near when needed. And my sons were glad to receive a call, informing them of the event.

Heavy device that blinks every two minutes which is makes it impossible to sleep with unless covered with a towel.

I used it once when needed zrather than calling 911 or the ambulance, just to see if it worked. It worked just fine.

I have tested the alert a number of times. I have not had any medical, etc. problems. This is the second review I have received.

I have had only one ongoing problem. The two cross straps on the band that are intended to hold the "tongue" in place against the wristband will not stay in place. This leaves the "tongue" sticking straight up from the wrist.The result is that on at least four occasions, the wristband has opened up and fallen off my wrist during the night.I phoned about this, and the customer service agent advised me to go to Walmart and buy a different wristband, which I find ludicrous and of course did not do.
