I have to give this company five stars! Their customer service is outstanding! I was accidentally sent an end table in the wrong color and instead of having to go through the hassle to ship it back, they let me keep it as a courtesy for the mishap! Sent me the correct color as well! Blown away by the excellent customer service. Thanks Madison Seating!

I purchased a Steelcase Leap chair at a great price from Madison Seating and received it promptly. I had a problem with the pneumatic cylinder sinking and I contacted their customer service email. First, they quickly sent me a new cylinder, but when I received it, I was unable to remove the old cylinder because it had been wrapped with black tape that was now wedged in the chair's base. I emailed customer service again and they offered to send me another full chair at no cost, and with no need to return the defective chair. This was great service and showed a commitment to customer satisfaction. They asked me to write a positive review prior to their sending the replacement chair, which is a little weird, but as long as I receive a fully functional new chair, I will stand by the positive review.

(original rating: 4 stars) I received a Steelcase Leap v1 chair with a wobbly/sinking cylinder, and customer service has offered to resolve this by sending a second chair. I really appreciate how responsive they've been so far. In a few days, we'll see how the follow-though was - so maybe one more star! EDIT: Follow-Up (adjusted rating: 3 stars)______________ Replacement chair is a v2 seat mounted on a v1 base. The lower back firmness adjustment is wonky/ Spring is creaky. The cylinder doesn't sink, but wobbles just like the first chair. I've used these chairs before and never had issues like these. A little disappointed. The customer service rep seemed sincere, and I don't know that they knew the follow-through would be bad, so only taking one star away. Next time I'll buy in person from a local refurb so I can know what I'm paying for. EDIT: Follow-Up #2 (final rating: 2 stars)___________ Bought a replacement cylinder from an OEM, and can confirm the chair was refurbished with wrong parts. New cylinder is solid and doesn't wobble at all, sits at a different height and does not drag on the carpet. It's a completely different shape and size. SO, if you want to buy from Madison Seating, just be aware you might be spending an extra $60 or so after delivery to get the right parts.

Buyer Beware! This company has a very unscrupulous business model, whereby they ship a defective chair, try to extort a false positive review in exchange for shipping a "free" replacement which turns out to be a different model. Then they want the customer to pay for return shipping and a restocking fee for their discrepant shipment. Madison Seating clearly does not stand behind their "100% Customer Satisfaction" claim. Thankfully, my credit card company agreed with the facts and credited me for the entire purchase. It was an exhaustive experience that I don't wish upon anyone.

This company stands behind its products. I ordered a number of chairs and one was damaged in shipping. They offered a replacement of the chair right away with no argument. I would recommend them to anyone

I ordered a chair and it came in broken. I contacted customer support and they were pretty helpful. They are sending me a new one right now which is great but I wish there hadn't been an issue in the first place. It was likely broken in shipping which is not their fault, but there seems to be a lot of reviews about broken items. I appreciate everything they have done to solve this issue and would look to them in the future for buying furniture.
