I received the steelcase leap 2 in good condition, already mostly assembled in fact, and it's a really nice chair. As stated, shipping takes a while especially from New Jersey to California, but after about 3 days for the order to process it only took another 7 or so for the chair to arrive. Being as this saved me about $140-$200 off a similar used chair on Amazon, I'd say the wait was worth it. Customer service was also very responsive in resolving a minor misunderstanding, that the hardwood wheels are not rubberized. This is stated but a little hard to find on their website. I needed those wheels to reduce noise, and not their recut wheels for slightly better movement. For them, since rubberized are similarly $35 on Amazon, I'd suggest just carrying those instead

We are so pleased with Madison Seating's customer service and commitment to it's customers. I have had a specific chair in our office for over 30 years ( Its extremely comfortable) we found the same chair on Madison Seating for a fraction of the price!(Amazing!!!!) so we order 2 of them. Unfortunately one was received damaged and Madison seating offered to send us another one with out sending back the damage one. If that's not customer service then I don't know what is. We love Madison Seating and have referred them to all our friends and family that are too business owners in need of office chairs.

The chair is excellent quality, there was an issue with the shipping company, but Madison Seating resolved it quickly, and at their own expense! Great products and service. Matt Tyler

Madison Seating responded to my concerns immediately and offered a workable solution.

DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS UNAUTHORIZED DEALER! I had the worst experience ever. I ordered a Herman Miller Aeron Posture Fit Office Chair. First, the product took 3 weeks to arrive. Second, the packing of the chair was shoddy at best and upon arrival, one of the casters was broken. They sent a replacement caster which was incorrect. Then they replaced that one by sending 5 new casters that were not the same as the originals on the chair. Then we noticed there was a piece missing from the posture fit accessory. They sent a part out with no instructions how to fix it. Lastly there is a hole in the seat which they basically stated to me "you get what you pay for". We had to call Herman Miller to get instructions to correct the posture fitting only to discover that they are not an authorized dealer and they are known for "frankenstein-ing" their chairs together. Exactly what happened to me! We also discovered that the chair I received was an outdated version of the current Aeron Chair which was never disclosed to me by Madison. Madison's customer service and staff as a whole were slow and difficult to deal with on top of all that. They are being reported to the BBB.

Don't order anything from Madison Seating. I ordered a Steelcase Leap chair from them on January 20, 2020. They informed me that the estimated time to DELIVER this chair was 10-14 business days. This would have been February 6th. On February 6th I reached out to them. They hadn't sent the chair. They sent it on the 6th and I received it on the 13. When I took it out of the box the chair was broken. They offered to send me another chair (and giving me the broken chair) if I would right a glowing review of them on this site. I refused because I had no idea if the second chair would be any good. They wanted me to send back the chair which I did. They refused to send a replacement chair until they received the returned chair. In theory they will provide me with a credit when they receive the chair back. This has been five weeks of futility. Don't buy from them.

I was shopping for a nice office chair and came across Madisonseating web site who offered very good price for Steelcase leap office chair. I received the chair in about 10 days. I had a problem installing the cylinder and emailed customer support. They responded instantly and helped to resolve the issue. Keep in mind that they may sell open box items which means that chair may not come with original packaging or may have been refurbished which allow them to offer much better than retail price. I wish they specify this more clearly in description. My chair did not come with Steelcase tags but looked new with legendary Steelcase ergonomics. I do not mind buying refurbished products if they come with good discount. Considering great Madison seating customer service, I would buy again from them in future.

My order was quick to ship, and was received earlier than expected. When I discovered some damage upon receipt and contacted customer support, they were quick to offer a discount on the damaged chair, but when I stated that I would prefer a repair or replacement, they immediately offered a replacement free of charge. I will definitely be going to this company if I have any need of office furniture in the future, as they stand behind their products.
