They're either a shady business and/or they are using COVID as an excuse. They just bank your order and don't communicate true status. They are not proactive about telling you when your order will ship, is even in stock, miss multiple shipping dates, and when you contact customer support they use COVID as the excuse. Sure allowances should be made for COVID, but their true problem is basic poor inventory management and shipping communication.

I ordered steel case leap v2. The chair is solid, but unfortunately mine came with a defective cylinder. Madison seating customer support was very responsive and was able to get a replacement for me. Unfortunately, the replacement is also broken! The mechanics that make the chair move/recline require force to move.

The company repeatedly lied to me about my order, leaving me without a chair when I needed it. They basically sold me a chair they did not have, and then kept telling me it was coming.... this one one for about 2 months before they cancelled my order without explanation. Since they kept telling me it was coming I didn't order a chair elsewhere. Until Madison Seating cancelled on me, then I ordered a chair elsewhere and I received it 2 days later. I ordered an Aeron, which they keep listing more of for sale... so why couldn't they send me one???

Madison has very responsive customer service. My chair is having a problem, but they offered to resolve in a timely manner. I’d buy again from them.

The customer service team is phenomenal, they went out of their way to help me resolve an issue an made sure I was happy. Would recommend as you can trust these guys.

Had a great experience with Madison Seating. FedEx unfortunately lost my chair. They claimed to have delivered it to my front door, though my doorbell camera clearly showed that such a delivery had never occurred. Madison Seating filed a complaint with FedEx on my behalf, and I even provided the time/date-stamped footage from my camera as proof. Unfortunately, FedEx denied the claim, maintaining that they had delivered it to my front door at the stated time, despite video evidence to the contrary. Although Madison Seating did nothing wrong, they sent a replacement chair fairly quickly. It arrived yesterday in great condition. Fantastic chair, great price, and really great customer service. They responded very quickly to my emails, and really worked with me to make sure I was happy. Note: their website (and subsequent order confirmation emails) specifically state that order fulfillment is running longer than usual because of the pandemic. I see a lot of reviews of people complaining about wait times, which seems fairly silly to me. Order a chair at a good price, and set your expectations properly for delivery times.

After ordering a refurbished chair on 8/9, I allowed extra time for delivery understanding these are difficult times. After reaching out to customer service end of August, I was given an eta of early to mid September for a ship date. Now mid September, I reached out again and am now being told end of September. It appears these products are not in stock and have cancelled the order as I fear the product I chose was not an available item when bought and cannot be sure what product I will be sent as it will be another item. Filing a BBB report for deceptive business practices.

I fell into the customer service abyss that many talk about -- I ordered a chair on the 27th of August 2020. I received no confirmation or update at all and when I enquired on 9/13 regarding my order, the cancelled it. Very sad and very poor. Low reliability and overall, just very disappointing.
