I bought a Steelcase Leap V2 chair from this store. The air cylinder broke (all the air leaked out) and the chair would no longer stay up. This happened within the advertised warranty. I contacted their warranty department, provided my receipt and description of the problem and requested a new air cylinder. They told me they couldn't send me a new cylinder unless I shipped them the entire chair and it would cost me a $150 round trip. I said that is ridiculous since the full retail cost of the replacement part is only $59. They said they would ship me the part if I was willing to pay them the $59 plus shipping. I asked them what is the point of their warranty if they are going to just leverage very expensive mandatory shipping charges to avoid every having to fix anything.

The customer service at Madison Seating is tops. We received an order for 6 chairs and all arrived intact and undamaged except 1 chair that could not be assembled due to a defect. Customer service corrected the problem by sending a replacement chair at no cost. There's a reason we've made multiple purchases from Madison Seating - customer service.

I've shopped from this company four times. Three times were completely without incident, I got exactly what I ordered, shipping was fast, everything was great. The fourth time they made a tiny mistake- put the wrong chairs in the box. They sent me new chairs quickly and let me keep the old chairs. I have zero complaints, why I keep coming back! Customer service is an easy email exchange, furniture is just what I'm looking for.

I purchased 6 chairs to replace chairs in my office. 5 of the 6 chairs arrived in great condition, as expected. One of the chairs arrived with a broken back support piece which is integral to making the chair fully functional and supportive. I reached out to their customer service team who began the process of sending a replacement chair out to me right away. Very responsive to my request and am pleased with the speed in which this was handled. Will definitely be making purchases again in the future!

I purchased a chair and three months later it had not arrived. When I reached out to inquire about its status, I was lied to and told that I had been reached out to previously to confirm my order. First off, why would I need to confirm my order? I ordered the chair, therefore I wanted it. Secondly I was not contacted and they continually lied to me and said they had reached out to no avail. When I called they did not call back. When I emailed I only got automated replies back. Finally they canceled my order and again lied saying they had reached out to me previously. This is honestly the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced.

Placed order, kept checking up after no change in status - after 6 weeks they just cancelled it. Don't waste your time! Pay a couple bucks more and actually get a chair out of it

Took 4 months for chair to arrive when was supposed to in 10-14 days. I tried to cancel my order via email multiple times but they told me "all sales are final". Completely contradicts their allow returns for 30 days. Highly manipulative, deceitful, and disingenuous. Madison Seating should be associated with all connotations of "black market". They then charged my credit card when it finally shipped even though I requested to cancel the order multiple times. Dodged every question I asked them. Chair arrived not what I ordered. Broken on delivery. They then threaten to call police on me for theft, threaten to sue me, and all at the same time their terms of service say neither party is entitled to a lawsuit. More than deceitful, intimidating and incompetent as well. Herman Miller hates Cohen and this company for good reason. Absolutely ridiculous.
