I'm really happy with my provider. My provider listens to me and validates my experiences and emotions, and really listens. The booking process is easy.

I made an appointment and went through there prompts after I submitted all required documents including proof of my insurance and even after that because there system error I was charge as if I didn’t have insurance . A $100 dollar fee . After several attempts to explained they didn’t care. Its was Frustrating and I will never recommend or use this service again.

Didn’t receive service - but did have to pay them 100 dollars. Originally tried to book with the service to help with fulfillment of a prescription I needed. Once I had booked - something changed and I needed to cancel the appointment. I called as soon as I could to cancel and was within the noted 48 hour window - but I stress I called as soon as I could and got new information. They told me to kick rocks basically. So it was either do the session that no longer would assist me - or cancel it. Either way the company would do nothing - it was either cancel or waste the time of the specialist involved. So I cancelled and ate the costs because I was told it didn’t matter that they couldn’t help me either way.

I have very much not enjoyed using life stance as a service provider. Every provider is their own person so I won’t speak on providers, but I will say lifestance patient portal is completely useless. You cannot make change or cancel appointments through the portal whatsoever. I sent in a message after hours (A Sunday) requesting an appointment be canceled (Wednesday apportionment), this was within 48 hours. I then received a call The following day at 3 PM saying they don’t accept cancellations through the portal and that now it is no longer within the 48 hour window and they’re going charge me $120 if I cancel. I was at work (the reason i even used the portal) and I do not have access to my phone at work. I should’ve listened to other reviews with similar experiences before starting with this provider platform. They feel very much like a scam they make it very difficult to cancel appointments. They send you multiple links and text requiring you to confirm your appointment but they do not allow you to cancel or modify an appointment virtually whatsoever. I have had numerous calls with rude assistance or whomever it is that’s answering the calls and doing the scheduling. For the average working person who is also struggling with mental health them not allowing you to really do anything through the patient. Portal is not helpful at all, and it has created such an extra barrier to treatment that I will no longer be utilizing this provider platform.

A person that listens

I was with a great provider. Problem is I lost my job and have been unemployed for two years. I had cobra for a while but it became too expensive. I went to a state issued plan and my therapist wasn't a in network provider, but the billing office didn't let me know that detail. So the bills were pulling up and I had no income (even debt in my tax return that a made zero income for the year) They blocked my provider from scheduling with me. I applied for financial support from them but was denied, even after sending them my tax returns and negative balance checking account systems which the bank has closed. They care more about the financial aspect then they do mental health. I haven't been able to see my provider and everyone knows it's difficult to find one you actually trust and can work with on issues. Lifestance you should be ashamed!
