I had an appointment scheduled with Dr. Meredith this Tuesday, but it was canceled just two hours beforehand. I explained that I was out of my medication and really struggling. The office wouldn’t reschedule me with another provider, and Dr. Meredith wasn’t available for a phone call, so I was booked for the following Thursday. Then, one minute after my video appointment was scheduled, it was canceled again. I messaged Dr. Meredith asking for help, but never received a response. I was shocked by how unprofessional and difficult this experience was, especially after I explained that I was out of medication. I would not recommend this practice.

This company is SUCH A JOKE. I cannot believe I’ve been dealing with this since February. I have seen 4 psychiatrists, 2 therapists and they are all garbage except Gordon Garris who I established a patient/provider relationship with and then was called to have them say they can’t take my insurance anymore after months of being there! Then with the new person I was supposed to have today, I got called a HALF HOUR before my appointment to cancel because the person is out sick. This was supposed to be a virtual appointment, but they tell me it says in person on their end but she works an hour away! This company is so unprofessional, major pill pushers, the therapists do nothing, they don’t listen or care. I am looking elsewhere because this place is seriously not for anyone looking to get help. They make it so difficult and cause life so much more stress which is real great with mental health issues. What the heck?! The ONLY person working here that is worth anything is Gordon, he got me off all the unnecessary meds and got me on the right track. I’m so angry that these people are supposed to be helping but they just make everything worse. Don’t go here unless you can see Garris.

I am absolutely disgusted by my experience with LifeStance Health, especially considering a company providing mental healthcare to individuals who deserve compassion, professionalism, and respect. On Friday, I called to reschedule my appointment scheduled for the following Tuesday. The representative was unprofessional and NEVER informed me that rescheduling would result in a $100 charge. Not once did she explain that I was outside their cancellation window. She simply rescheduled my appointment without disclosing the financial consequences. Had I been informed, I could have made an educated decision. When I called, LifeStance refused to take accountability, claiming that understanding the policy was MY responsibility because it was available in writing. Since when does having a written policy excuse an employee's failure to communicate critical financial information during a transaction? Even more disturbing was their refusal to refund me or investigate the original call. As a college student pursuing a healthcare career, $100 could go toward groceries, transportation, and basic necessities. To dismiss that financial hardship so casually is especially troubling from a company operating in mental healthcare. I understand businesses need policies. I am not disputing the policy. I am disputing LifeStance's refusal to take responsibility for how its own representative handled the situation. Transparency, accountability, and patient advocacy should be fundamental principles, not optional courtesies. This experience has made me seriously reconsider continuing with LifeStance because it reveals a lot about their priorities and how they treat the people who depend on their services. LifeStance, your employees' failures in communication should not automatically become your patients' financial burdens. A company built around mental healthcare should understand that compassion and accountability matter just as much as the policies it enforces.

Ive not had a good experience with any of the 6 therapists ive seen here over the years.

Worst worst experience ever. Would not recommend to someone genuinely seeking help.

Lifestance - My wife gets an email that she missed her appointment and now owes $100 She later is able to call them asking for a pass informing them she broke her right Femur and was in the hospital on pain meds waiting for surgery.. Lifestance - not a quote but basically - sorry about that, you owe us $100 Well ok, take my $100 now and lose any future monies as she'll find someone else to go to. Based on this, it appears a person could be hit by a car in intensive care hanging on by a thread and stinking Lifestance would still want their $100 cos you missed your appointment

My nurse practitioner is always late and if i’m late then I will get charged but if she’s late no money gets taken away from her. This company doesn’t value my time, punctuality, or money.

THEY ARE THE WORST!!!!! WITH 3 DIFFERENT “Providers”. They mismanaged her care and sent her into psychosis 3 times!!!!! If I could get a negative review I would!!! Degenerates!!!!
