This company does great work getting you the right doctors and therapist you need!! I have been with them for over 2 years and have had great success so far on my journey called life! I have the best therapist Bob Robert Rivasi I’m telling you he has brought me from the pitch of the deep darkness to the bright light of beautiful sunshine! We all have things that we have been through that we need help with so why don’t we give it to the professionals here at LifeStance that know exactly what we need. All you have to do is give your time and your attention to them and listen and gather what they tell you and it will help you on your journey called Life guaranteed!!

Save yourself and avoid at all costs!
In summary, total lack of accountability and nearly impossible to get a hold of on both their website and when you call so nothing really seems to ever be resolved. These people need to have a serious sit-down with their operations department or find someone who actually knows what they are doing. Furthermore, it may behoove them to consider changing their mission statement because I can assure you from my experience that this is a business that does not "help people lead healthier, more fulfilling lives by improving access to trusted, affordable, and personalized mental healthcare." They have made my life more difficult and frustrating then it was before and the idea of "access" is a joke since you can't access people to talk to or their website more than half the time. I have had issues with keeping a psychiatrist multiple times through them which I imagine is because of their own business practices so they cut and run. To top it off, they just send you a message that tells you the psychiatrist is no longer with them and ask you to call them back to figure it out. You do know you are working with people that have often serious mental issues and you can't even be bothered to call them and help them take care of that vs. leaving someone vulnerable completely hanging? It doesn't even matter that you do eventually call them because you will sit on hold forever or they just won't call you back. People need their medications and you are putting them in positions to be completely without and at risk, and taking zero accountability. I was finally paired with another psychiatrist and she was awful in her own ways and left me totally stranded when it came to my medication which was already hard to find, and when I tried to speak with someone at Lifestance about it, I had to leave a VM with a "supervisor" that was never even returned. No follow up, zero accountability. And not lastly, but all I have the energy for today is that I tried multiple times to get set up with a therapist (website didn't work as usual) and there were times I was waiting to be connected for an hour and had to get off the call for other commitments. The one time I was actually called back, was 2 minutes before the start of a work meeting so I BEGGED her to call me back and she said she would call me at a specific time and, surprise surprise, I never heard from her or anyone else ever. Again, you are dealing with vulnerable people and should be absolutely ashamed of your abandonment, recklessness, and carelessness especially with the lofty claims you make about the type of business you are. You Glassdoor employee reviews say a lot about who you are as a business to top it off, so there is a clear need to seriously reevaluate what it is you do and if your goal is really to help anyone but your own pockets by preying on the already weak and vulnerable. I have to wonder how many people were finally at their wits end with getting help, which was already probably difficult to muster, and finally gave up and considered or ended their lives because of your business practices, and I would not be surprised to later hear about a massive lawsuit against this business if they haven't already settled many out of court. Just shameful and pathetic as far as companies go. Based on your reviews, you probably hurt more than you help and should just stop giving people the false sense of hope so they can actually find someone who cares when they finally have the ability to do so.

Billing department is a disaster
Please listen to the reviews about Lifestance, they are accurate. They've been billing me incorrectly for months now and when I finally got someone to refund the money, the negative number disappeared from my balance but I never received the refund. Trying to get someone on the phone means hours of hold times and nobody calling you back or answering messages on the patient portal. The providers are good, but the administration and billing is shockingly dysfunctional.

Their billing team is terrible when it comes to refunding you money that is owed.
This company is a mess when it comes to refunding money. They were billing me incorrectly and waiting for a refund and nothing. It is March 2023 and I filed this claim back in September of 2022. Their billing department is an absolute mess and always transferring me to another line. Always filled with excuses and I am disgusted with the lack of accountability with company has.
Therapy is great but I would look else where because this billing department does not care about the clients. Quick to get payments but slow to give a refund especially when there is proof that the code was added incorrectly.

Place is a joke!
Did online assessment to try to find my son new care. Was able to get an appointment quickly. Well I thought! The day of the appointment I went to the text appointment reminder and when I went on it said my appointment was deleted. 1st reason I got was that they don't have a provider that treats autism. I said that is just 1 of his diagnosis he sees psych for adhd and spd ocd. Then she says oh its because there was no credit card on file. So I said ok! Then proceeds to tell me there is no one to see him for over a month. Waste of my time when people are seeking mental health it is because they need it! She stated oh they called you! No they did not!! She better be glad I am on meds or I would of lost it on her! Will be searching for a new place to take my special boy!

Making money by sloppy deception of…
Making money by sloppy deception of costs results in overcharging. This is a crime. Medical Fraud. No doubt many of the therapists are good, but the company and billing department is not. I cannot believe LIFESTANCE has not been shut down by now.

Overcharge for short telephone sessions
They have overcharged me by a great amount. For a 15 or 20 minute session, I have been charged $245. My sessions are every few months, to find I am being charged $200 for each 15 minute telephone consultation. I like my provider, but LifeStance is being fraudulent in their billing.

I reached out to this organization due…
I reached out to this organization due to serious mental health issues. Understanding that purpose, LifeStance does not care about patient care. Within the first 6 appointments I made with Kara Hardesty at the Fort Myers, FL location, 3 were cancelled. In fact, as soon I was making progress and took the time to organize and prepare for a very pivotal appointment, the therapy session was cancelled by text 45 mins before the appointment. I had made arrangements with my job, which was not easy, to ensure I was attending to my mental health. Not a courtesy phone call and for those that are in despair understand, this is minimally what one can do. If I would have cancelled, I would have been charged the appointment. No accountability! Attempting to reschedule by phone immediately after receiving the cancellation text and while in serious concern for my mental health, no one can be reached or was put on hold for long periods of times to be hung up on. Exasperating my anxiety and deteriorating any progress I could have made. This is not patient care nor how someone should be treated seeking therapy. The owner of this organization will probably respond to this review with a comment stating they "are disappointed to hear about your experience because patient satisfaction is extremely important to us." Instead of following up with a contingency for patients seeking help. If they were to aim with patient satisfaction, the organization should reach out to their patients as they claim. There is no compassion for patients as they will conveniently cancel appointments by text, where is the compassion there? DO NOT USE this organization because they will assure they get paid and your mental health will deteriorate before it improves. It seems to be a trend with LifeStance. If you are reading this review seek other methods of therapy, LifeStance will disappoint and fail you. If this is the way they conduct therapy you will be worse off.
