Charged me £60 for my 8kg bag to take as cabin luggage when multiple folk where in the same position and there was more than enough space in flight. Also this was not made clear at any point when booking.

Misleading and inaccurate information regarding luggage policy when flying economy class. Agents at the gate controlling every person as if people are criminals. Standing ready with a credit card machine in the poker ready for the pray and charging as much possible from as many people possible. A company that is main focus is to empty your poker as much as possible. Never again.

Price gouging behaviour, on top of extremely incompetent customer support staff. Refuses accountability for their mistakes and further charges you for messing up your tickets. Avoid like the plague

Appalling, pretty much as everyone else says it.. queued an hour for baggage drop off then had to rush down a late breakfast.. late boarders due to mistakes with boarding passes, so flight was delayed.. not a nice experience

Flight KM 102 from Malta to London UK on the 13th Dec 2025. Flight started well with decent service, nice meal etc. 2/3 through the flight, turbulence started and the seatbelt sign went on. I needed to use the washroom but waited. Turbulence subsided but the sign was still on. Stewards all walking around no problem. So I asked to use the washroom and was given a stern no, the sign is on. So I waited uncomfortably and then we started our descent. No chance now which I felt was really inhumaine. I was told wait until we land. That was about another 35 minutes with no turbulence. The steward was bald and in he early forties. Very controlling.

We paid for upgrades to business class when we arrived at Gatwick we were told one of the crew seats were broken and needed our seat and to request a refund we received an email saying saying we would get the refund 2 months later tonight the sent an email saying saying now we can’t have the refund what a dishonest way to run a company.

Malta Airline is a scam. No clear baggage Information extra charge for luggage already paid in full. Luggage opened upon arrival.
