I was excited to get my tape-in…
I was excited to get my tape-in extensions put in after nearly two years without, and found Irresistible Me online. Their product seemed great, and made in America, so I ordered one package of hair. I have incredibly baby-fine hair, and in the past, all it took was one pack. I got to my hairdresser, who said the hair they’d sent was quite thin, and that I’d have to order another pack. A couple weeks later, she put them in, but was not impressed with the tape. She has been doing tape-ins for years, and noticed a marked difference in the weight of the hair and tape in the first package I’d received versus the second, and ended up using some of her own tapes (made for Hot Heads extensions). The hair started falling out immediately. I went back three times within the next three weeks to have my hairdresser put the extensions back in, and I’d noticed that the hair felt very synthetic as well. I treated them with the utmost care, yet they frizzed out so badly in spite of all of the treatments I was using on the lengths and ends. I had her cut them shorter, further moving away from the look I’d envisioned, and still, they kept falling out. One month later, and all extensions are out; taking plenty of my own hair with them. I now have to cut what’s left of my hair into a short (!!!) style. This has been the most upsetting result possible. I highly recommend against this brand.
