We understand how valuable automatic expense categorization can be when you're managing day-to-day finances, and we appreciate you taking the time to let us know where the experience felt limiting. While a QuickBooks integration is available today, we recognize that having more built-in, automated tools would make things smoother and we’re actively exploring ways to expand those capabilities. If interested, we also offer an integration with both ChatGPT and Claude, currently in open beta. Enabled through our MCP server, it provides a secure connection between your bank account and your preferred AI tool, letting you consolidate multiple data sources into a single conversational interface. From there, you can categorize expenses, anticipate cash flow challenges, uncover trends, spot anomalies, evaluate scenarios, and plan proactively. This is an optional tool that some clients may find valuable in helping fill gaps while we continue expanding our native capabilities. At any point, if you’d like to join the beta, we’d be happy to personally walk you through the setup process. In the meantime, we have shared your feedback with our product team. As a federally regulated bank, we follow strict guidelines when handling deposits, returns, and transactions that involve another financial institution. In situations where an external bank is the one that ultimately processes or clears an item, there are limits to what we’re permitted to intervene in, which can understandably feel confusing from the client’s perspective. Having your account closed unexpectedly and then waiting for your funds to arrive can be stressful, and we are sorry that this situation left you feeling uncertain about how your money was being handled. After taking a closer look, we can confirm that the account was closed due to a funding deposit return, and any remaining balance was sent back to the originating institution in line with our policies and procedures. And as our support team shared, the final posting time depends on the processing schedule at that institution. We know that does not erase the anxiety you experienced, and we recognize that the limited visibility into compliance-related processes can leave clients feeling uncertain, so we will be working with our team to improve how we communicate with clients during sensitive situations like this. We understand how frustrating delays and card issues can be and want to assure you that this is not the experience we intend or expect our clients to have. Regarding your physical card, according to our records, we identified a name mismatch on your original card, and a corrected replacement was mailed to your confirmed address on July 28th. Physical debit cards typically arrive within 7–10 business days. As for the virtual card, we discovered that a ZIP code mismatch likely caused some online transactions to fail. We've reached out directly and appreciate your cooperation in providing the necessary documentation to help correct this. We know how important reliability is when it comes to your finances, and we hope this experience does not impact your overall perception of Grasshopper.
