We welcome all feedback and appreciate the opportunity to clarify the timeline and details regarding your April 2021 Split King Luxe purchase.Our records show you contacted us on May 22, 2021, after your mandatory 30-night break-in period, to initiate a return. When purchasing items as a bundle, our standard policy states that promotional bundle discounts are distributed across all items. If a single item from that bundle is returned, the discount is adjusted accordingly, which our team explained on June 2, 2021.Regarding your communication concerns, our phone systems do not block customer numbers. Following our final pricing discussion, a formal chargeback was filed on June 15, 2021, which moved the case into a legal review with the financial institution. This dispute was officially resolved and finalized on August 30, 2021.We always strive to provide transparent policies for our promotional bundles. Since this matter was legally resolved through the chargeback process several years ago, the account remains closed. Dear Jennifer,Thank you for replying to our request for information so I could look into your 2021 purchase history for Order #8060GBCA.We always try to accommodate cancellation requests whenever possible. However, our system logs show that by the time you contacted us to cancel this order to purchase through Costco instead, the mattress had already been processed and shipped out of our warehouse. Once an item is in transit with the carrier, it cannot be stopped mid-delivery, and standard return shipping and restocking fees apply.To assist you with this, I personally reached out via email to set up your Return Authorization (RA026502) and scheduled a convenient FedEx Ground pickup at your home for Wednesday, July 14, 2021. Rather than utilizing this return process, a chargeback was subsequently filed to secure the funds.We always aim to be transparent about shipping and return logistics, and I am glad we were able to provide a clear framework for your return. We appreciate the opportunity to address your experience from 2021 regarding order #5041GBCA.Our records show that your request was fully reviewed and resolved through the Better Business Bureau (BBB) in June 2021, and the case was closed. To clarify our policies, GhostBed does not offer price matching. Per our terms, initiating a return request for price differences or external retailer pricing falls outside our 101-night sleep trial guidelines, which is why the trial was voided at that time.We understand this caused frustration, and we apologize for any conflicting information you received from our staff during your initial calls. While we cannot alter the outcome from five years ago, we have since improved our internal training to ensure our pricing and return policies are communicated with total clarity.
