Absolutely terrible hotel
Absolutely terrible hotel. Everything is disgusting and the rooms look like they haven’t been cleaned, and that’s a big concern with Covid. I also heard the front desk gossiping about guests

After having a less than good experience at an Extended Stay America facility outside of Philadelphia, PA, the manager gave me a "Be Our Guest" (a/k/a BOG) certificate entitling me to a free nights stay, at a time of my choosing, as an apology. I've attempted to use this Certificate twice now and discovered that the Certificate is a sham. The company line is that they only have a certain number of rooms available for BOG guests and they always seem to be full on the dates I attempt to book. If you ever book at this chain and they offer you a BOG Certificate as an apology for poor service, DO NOT ACCEPT IT. Contact your credit card company put a dispute/stop payment on the charge. This chain does not does care about their reputations amongst frequent or even infrequent travelers.

After having the most horrible experience with Expedia, Joshua, who was working the front desk, helped rectify the situation. It took over 2 hours and never batted an eye. The rest of the staff have been amazing and polite as well! These guys turned a really bad experience into a really good one! I would definitely recommend!

I booked a room on priceline and paid for a week stay at the blue ash ohio extended stay America. Upon my arrival the person at the desk took all my info then asked me for a credit card for any "incidentals". I had 4 different cards. All were visa or mastercards but also debit cards. The girl working told me it could not be a debit card also. I had to have a card that was only a credit card. She then denied me my check in and the hotel kept the whole $400 that I had already paid for my room. The policy was if u dont show up for your reservation they can keep up to the first nights charge. I have called and emailed them numerous times, have never gotten a response and still have not received a dollar in return. I would not recommend this hotel.

Been at the Admiral Cochrane Drive Annapolis,MD property since June 2021. I have yet to have housekeeping despite my constant complaints. They finally told me that the housekeeper is afraid of cats but they never told me that until I complained for 2 months. Finally someone came when my Goddaughter was here and all the lady did was give me more towels. Didn't vacuum, didn't clean the shower, sink, toilet,kitchen...NOTHING. The room keys constantly aren't working so I have to go back to the front desk and have them give me a new one. Out of the 4 washers they have only 2 work at any given time. I have reached out to their corporate offices 3 times with no reply which tells me they couldn't care less about their customers which isn't surprising. I will be leaving here in a few weeks and will never come back here or ANY extended stay again. Property management couldn't care less, they just care about smoking outside with their resident friends and when it's raining they sit right outside the front doors and smoke (sign says no smoking 25 ft to the door) when the managers break the rules how can you respect an establishment? I started being harassed about paying my weekly rent when I am at the desk every week to pay. I had 2 managers knock on my door with a letter saying I was behind, I was not. They got to their desk and called up to tell me I was fine. Yes, I know. A few good front desk people have come and gone, at least 1 remains.. for now. If I can help other patrons avoid this HIGHLY overpriced place, I will post daily.

I was at this hotel and it charged me for my room but it also charged me for a canceled room under my card. I called and at first they was saying it could not be found until the payment went through is when it was found. I tried for a week and now they finally said I could get my money back but it will take 5 to 7 days. Why should I have to wait that long when it didn't take that long to take my money? Also when I called I was told I was not telling the truth that I didn't set up a reservation under another name. I was also told a manager will call me back but I am still waiting. What kind of customer service is that

I’ve been living here for a few months now with my wife and my Service Dog, because I can’t find any openings in my area. We’ve been here since june and it’s now September, and everything’s been great. No issues at all. But this week a new manager took over the location in Springdale Arkansas. This morning On my way to work I was informed that if I didn’t take my dog with me when I leave that I could no longer stay here. So I provided them with all the necessary federal registration paperwork for my service dog, and also my paperwork/prescription from a licensed therapist authorizing the use of a service dog and explaining why I have a service dog. They laughed in my face and told me they could pay 15$ on the internet and get the same paperwork. But I stood firm, and explained to them that what they were doing was discriminating against me because of my disability, and that to kick me out because of my service dog is a direct violation of the A.D.A. (Americans with Disabilities act) and the F.H.A. (Fair housing act) and federally illegal. So to take care of that they called the police and had them come out for a domestic disturbance and claimed that I was in the lobby yelling and using profanity. Which was completely made up. So when the cops showed up they claimed that even though I have all the necessary paperwork for my service animal, I still have to pack and leave because of the domestic disturbance that was entirely fabricated because the management knew they were in the wrong. and I’m now banned from the property for life. So I’m currently packing my stuff and Now I’m going to be homeless for the foreseeable future. All because I’m disabled.

The first week I was here, I encountered rude front desk staff (there is one woman - Fabiola who is always friendly, smiling and helpful) who seemed to resent that I would knock on the plastic shield to get their attention. One in particular was exceptionally rude and I had to report him to the manager. I wrote the manager two notes and placed them in a sealed envelope so that I would be certain that they were confidential. Either she didn't get them or chose not to respond. Next time I saw her she acted like she had never read them, although I noticed that the things I complained about (side doors not working, empty booze bottles in the parking lot as well as an empty fruit can standing on it's side in the outer lobby) have been taken care of. The rooms are clean, but if you want bed linens more than twice a month, then you have to change it yourself. The towels often have threads all over them like something you would use to wash your floor. The burners on the so-called "hot plate" either heat up too fast or don't heat up at all. The first time I made a grilled cheese even though I watched the pan carefully, was burned and almost inedible. When you turn on the television, you are forced to watch a dreary promotional piece on how luxurious and spacious the rooms and the storage in the kitchen are - don't believe it. It is a fabrication. I called another Extended Stay America to get some sort of support from someone I was told was a guest relations manager. I left a message with the front desk clerk and 3 weeks later, I am still waiting for a call back. UNACCEPTABLE.
