Everything was great except some broken or items in the room In disrepair. Burns in my counter, couch, very loud heater. No ability to use dishwasher. It leaks. No fox, just "dont use." Then, I happened to be in the lobby one morning taking with guests. I had my back turned and hit my coffee knocking it over, with my elbow and I didn't even notice. Then, I made a new cup of coffee. No towels or anything mind you....I went to lean forward and my big huge jacket with my keys and phone I. My pocket, lifted over the counter, bumping my new coffee and it spilt. The GM was next to me and say this. "Are you okay sir?! 😡" is what I got from her. Said I was so sorry, this and that. She didn't care. You'd think I was one of the DP's with no teeth smelling of booze 🥃 doesn't shower or doesn't have any money. Well I do, I'd like a damn apology. I've had my leg broken, reconstructed, broken, it has a titanium rod inserted through my knee. Couldn't walk for YEARS, my knee also did t work. She was NASTY.....except it was my coat, OT MY DEFECTIVE LEG, thanks a lot

Extended Stay America, Shelton, Connecticut is the most awful stay. IF you work nights and require sleep DO NOT STAY HERE! The guests I understand could or may be noisy at times BUT the HOUSEKEEPING OMG!! has absolutely no sound barriers what so ever. Dont bother complaining they get Louder!

Well it started off with my husband getting his finger crushed in the cupboards under the kitchen sink. You can open the two cupboards at the same time but can't close them at the same time. The way they are positioned in a corner type way. He got his finger crushed between them so hard it actually cut him and it bled. So that was upsetting. Then from about midnight till 3:00 in the morning the people upstairs sounded like they were walking around in cement block shoes. I had a heartache so bad from it and couldn't sleep. I told the front desk about both of those things. Sunday morning I couldn't wait to get out of there. And I was picking up our dirty clothes in the corner of the closet. There was a half metal shelf that really had no purpose or reason to be there because you hang your coats and can't see this thing. I hit my head so hard on it. I was knocked down on the floor crying. It was a stupid place to put a half shelf. Since you have plenty of dresser draws for clothes and a full top shelf in the closet for things. I was really upset about the whole weekend. Since it was suppose to be our Valentine get away weekend. People sitting in the hallway talking loud. Just everything was awful. The breakfast was terrible. I seriously wanted my money back and couldn't wait to get out of there.

Long-term stay as I have lived here since August of 2020. Love it, obviously. It's a great little studio for someone who no longer wants to deal with owning a house or renting/furnishing an apartment. The deal is sweet because utilities, cable and Wi-Fi are part of the package. AND if you happen to hate snow, underground parking is a total bonus for winter. The complimentary continental breakfast is once again being served!! And the managers and staff are very friendly and always available to help. Oh, it's pet-friendly!

I can't believe I spent my money here. What a horrible presentation and what an undesirable thing. The bathroom was full of algae. At least buy bleach and put it in those bathrooms. Very unpleasant my stay there on the night of January 29.

I visited the Extended Stay in Jan 2022 for about 30 days after coming in town for surgery. During this to I called the front desk with concerns of kids playing Soccer kick ball in the parking lot, and kids running throughout the hotel like this is a jungle gym or park. I contacted the front desk with the concerns of all the noise and running throughout the hotel.. and there answer was quiet hour was from 7 PM until 7 AM. Any persons that are reading this I would avoid this place like the plague (Arabic dissent) folks don’t watch their kids and let them just run wild and management does nothing.

Great place great service everyone is friendly and helps out a lot Hannah which is a front desk person goes above and beyond along with the rest of the staff you left alone and not bothered but your needs are taking care of
