The Extended Stay in Overland Park Kansas off of Metcalf is one of the best Extended Stays that I've stayed at in a long while, Very clean, vending machines are stocked well with a variety of items at a reasonable cost. Hence, the customer service team is wonderful yet, respectable and courteous, I mean if I could take this team with me when I go on every trip, I would do so. Great Job extended stay for hiring such wonderful and humble personnel. AKA always an extended stay customer indeed. Beth

So far everything has been clean.

I was attempting to change a reservation because of a change in work plans, so decreasing the stay by 7 days. I proceeded to call them to change the reservations where they canceled my previous reservation and made a new one. That was when I thought everything was ok until I received a bill for the entire period, I was supposed to be paying bi-weekly. I called them to get it resolved where I learned that they would not do anything and had to review the entire previous call, which they said would only take 48 hours. They have still not reviewed the call and it has been 6 days. I still have not received a refund and keep getting nothing from customer service. I am currently staying in a different hotel they own, but make sure if you do make a reservation that they don't make a mistake or you will be the one paying for it.

I am living at 5990 Corporate Ave Cypress CA 90630 Extended stay America my room has faulty wiring and the smell of burning electrically wires the whole wall light fixture has went out and the Manager Lou and Mel has REFUSED to move us out of this room the company lawyer told ESA not to move us to another room this is violation of my Right to Life to Live in a safe place not only is my life and my wife Life and my service animal LIFE MEAN ANYTHING to ESA who has refused to move me to a safe room instead we are made to stay on an dangerous uninhabitable living conditions due to Retaliation because an ESA employees were entering my room UNLAWFUL and Illegally without our consent or knowledge and they were stealing from us and they got caught in our room and we have filled an lawsuit because they violated California Tenant Laws, this is showing Disregard for 2 lives and all other lives at this hotel I have called the Director of CODE ENFORCEMENT OF CYPRESS COUNTY 3 TIMES AND LEFT MESSAGES and spoke with CSR who I again told that KHUONG TRUONYN, has REFUSED TO EVEN CALL BACK THIS IS URGENT WE DO NOT WANT TO DIE FROM A FIRE the lady I spoke with on Friday at his office said he was in, but this man has LITTLE REGARD FOR OUR LIVES AND ALL THE OTHER LIVES AT ESA, how can this man be the Director of CODE ENFORCEMENT and sit on his butt while living people has asked him to do his job and he has sat on his butt and did nothing not even to call or send some one out to address the Very Dangerous and Deadly situation they can cause a lot of living men and women to die, it's also Black Mold in bathroom. The manager LOU who lives on 2nd floor in the same hotel who is Negligence, this is the most lying manager in the world Lou and Mel are LIARS they both have Discriminate against our family in Retaliation against because of Lawsuit that was filled against ESA for theft and Illegal entry from they ESA employees and the unknown Hackers living in at ESA, When your keys keep going out it's because someone is going into your room behind your back we had stuff put in our food and water etc. we had to throw away toothpaste toothbrush food and water etc. we got sick we don't know what they did but after we started locking them out our HEALTH improved, It's no cameras it's no security, of you have an service animal or dog and you see that dog tag is missing from your room that is the 1st sign they are going into your room without your knowledge or consent when you report missing items or compliant they lie and write no reports the manager Lou goes around doing [key lock readings] illegally she keeps them in her phone, so when you make an complaints and she ask do you want a key lock reading she sneak and do it without you being present so she can show you one of the 100 key readings she already have in her phone she has recorded to show you No One has been on your room that is a LIE, she has a lot of fraudulent key reading videos in her phone LOU the allegedly manger is an LIAR, I really believe LOU is an OPP undercover she had no manager experience or common Sense and lives at ESA something is Not right with this so called mgr. Lou and Mel are 2 faced LIARS cannot be trusted Mel will LIE and OVER CHARGE YOU! They are the only two liars here they can't be trusted! My 20k wedding ring was Stolen a neck was Stolen Spiritual stones were Stolen My Cell phone for my Business was Stolen all the money from my business was Stolen and Hacked Our Birth Certificates and Social Security Cards was Stolen, over $2000.00 cash was Stolen my Computer was hacked and information was Stolen the mattress are full of pea stains and blood stains and the bed covers are so nasty they are brown and is stuck to the box springs it's no bedbug mattress cover, the bottom of the box springs are hanging down the bathroom has Black Mold growing the bathroom is rusted out and water has been dripping for months there is Roach Infested and Nats the carpet is very nasty and has water damage the wall is swelling and peeling my Health is suffering due to everything my hair has stated falling out due to the BLACK MOLD in bathroom it is Faulty wiring the whole wall light in bathroom stated smoking after it went out with the smell of burning wire's that can catch FIRE even THE DIRECTOR OF CODE ENFORCEMENT [KHUONG TRUONG] has REFUSED to do anything KHUONG TRUONG is just as Neglectful as ESA I THESE ACTIONS ARE CRIMINAL AND SHOWS THE DISREGARD TO the living lives of children women and men They don't Care about the lives that stay at EXTENDED STAY AMERICA 5990 CORPORATE AVE CYPRESS CA 90630 RADY AND MICHAEL ARE THE BEST THING GOING AT THIS HELL HOLE DONT STAY HERE YOU WILL BE ROBBED AND ALL YOUR BANKING CREDIT CARD INFORMATION AND MONEY WILL BE STOLEN THIS PLACE OS DANGEROUS FULL OF HOARDERS THE HALL SMELLS LIKE DOG PEA DO NOT STAY HERE I JAVE FILLED AN LAWSUIT'S... check out reviews on Chamber of Commerce

Don’t bet on this place — After a long flight from Arizona I arrived at their location in Oakbrook, IL only to find out that they’d given away my reserved room to someone else. I decided to check the hotel booking apps and sure enough, they were still allowing people to reserve rooms for that location, for that same day, even though they told me they have no room available for me. When I asked them about this, they had no answer. Their best offer to remedy the situation was to see if there was a room available for me in another Extended Stay. I told them I’d just paid $50 in cab fare to get there, and asked if they would cover my cab fare to the other hotel. They refused. I won’t be staying at any Extended Stay location if this is how the company does business.

My apartment flooded May 7th, slept in my car Saturday night because late and mother's day weekend hard to find lodging for myself, my son and our cat. On mother's day was able to book at ESA Irvine 30 Technology Dr in Irvine CA. I had stayed at ESA before but this was the worst, staff friendly enough, but dirty, run down, needs updated, tub would not hold water, toilet run on, thin walls, upstairs tenants running and stomping, limited tv channels, no utensils in room, old appliances, takes 3 x and a shoulder push to get door open after putting keycard in. Definitely doesn't look like pictures and not as advertised.

I am at the extended stay at 1400 w mcnab road pompano beach fl. in the time I've been here there were several things which i brought to the attention of the front desk, NUMEROUS TIMES. One the toilet paper holder came off the wall. i told them several times about it and they said they will get it fixed and never did. I have seen roaches in the room and i told them about it and they NEVER DID ANYTHING ABOUT IT AFTER TELLING THEM SEVERAL TIMES. I am notifying the local board of health to file a complaint. If i make a complaint to the corporate office they notify the manager and gives them a song and dance to the dance around corporate, AND THINGS STILL NEVER GET DONE. EXTENDED STAYS ARE NOT THE PLACE TO STAY FOR THEY OFFER SO LITTLE AT THE HIGH PRICES YOU PAY,

I made a reservation for one night at the Palm Springs Extended Stay. I then tried to cancel the reservation before the 6 pm deadline and thought I had canceled the reservation. It turns out I was charged even though I did not stay and had followed directions online to cancel. I tried to get a refund and was given the run around by the booking company and Extended Stay. I will not do business with this company again.
