If I could give it a less than 1 star I would. The general manager Stuart at the Denver tech center location apparently does not train his employees how to check identification before handing out door card keys. I went up to front over my key not working and a guy walks up ask and received someones key hopefully it was his room.

We stayed at the Durham, NC, location for our daughter's graduation at Duke. The hotel and staff were so horrible that I wouldn't allow homeless people to stay there. There was black mold in the bath, an almost useless kitchen, dirty, disgusting carpeting, no promised breakfast, a smoke alarm missing the smell of cigarettes, and someone tried to break into our room in the early morning. Disgusting! The good news, management did give us a complete refund.

Beware of unusual PII data collection with Extended Stays American Hotel Review of Extended Stay America - Lexington Park - Pax River BEWARE of booking and paying for stays at Extended Stays America hotel chain for future reference. Their manager at the Lexington Park location stated that the company policy required hotel guest to present valid ID not only for the registered guest but for all your family members in your party above 18 years old regardless if they don’t carry one or not. They are required to scan a valid ID, either a drivers license or passport and keep electronics copies of all your group’s ID. When I refused to provide my other family member’s ID for them to scan, I was denied the stay for the night on my fully paid reservation for a room. I had to notify my booking service to request a refund and drive away to another town to get a night stay. This policy was not explicitly stated in their website or booking policy. I contacted the manager , the customer care hot line and they refused to address this issue at a higher level except stating that they would offer a full refund at the request of my booking agency. They can not or will not notify this complaint to corporate for this unreasonable policy that I have never encountered at any other hotel chain before. I also think this situation should be considered an invasion of privacy for a company to gather unnecessary PII information that can lead to future identity theft opportunities.

This place is disgusting. Blood and stains on sheets, section 8 residents living here. They wont refund me dir the remaining time here until the manager hets here and its been hours and he is not here. Run from this place.

I have stayed at this hotel they are not taking care of anything as their hotel is totally dirty no good room cleaning no problem service. And when we raised a complaint, we were thrown out of the hotel as soon as we complained. They are compromising the customer's health. Even they are serving breakfast to their relative guest. I have some pictures of how their linens are dirty my whole family came from India and we were forced to live in that contaminated room compromising over health. And the general manager lady threw me out of the hotel by calling the cops just because we were complaining about cleanliness.

I arrived at America Suites about 8:30 am in Orlando, FL on Commodity Ave. I was told there was no early check in available. Check in was at 3:00 pm. The clerk didn't offer to store my 1 carry on until check in. I ask where could I stay until check in. She pointed to four chairs in the small lobby. I then asked where's the bathroom. She replied "We don't have a bathroom. I really needed a bathroom and asked if I could use one. She said," You can go across the street." ACROSS THE STREET, WHERE? I then said I have to find another place to stay. She left the desk. I saw a lady who worked there and asked for a bathroom. She said, "Follow me." When we started for the bathroom, the clerk came out and said we don't have a bathroom. The lady look confused and told me, " I guess it isn't working". The clerk didn't tell me it was out out of order. She simply said, We don't have a bathroom. Her demeanor was I don't care if you have to go to the bathroom. I canceled my reservation and booked at the Hampton Inn on 7500 Futures Dr. I'm a 75yr old woman and have never experienced such rude manner at a hotel. I do not recommend that you stay at this hotel. Btw.. I was a Certified Meeting Professional and understand the Hospitality Industry very well.. I can supply my reservation number upon request.

Location, Willow Street in Long Beach Ca. Worst place I’ve ever stayed for $175 could not sleep at all. The hotel smells like animals. Even the stairwell in a non-smoking hotel smells like cigarettes and to top it off noise through the whole room the whole night. don’t stay here stay somewhere else. And they say they provide a breakfast well, it’s a bag of oatmeal and a coffee and a juice

Main issue was the shower. The cold water did not work, the hot water was so hot it burned to touch and the shower temperature could not be regulated. When front desk was told, the desk clerk said sorry they will have maintenance look at it tomorrow. I need to shower at 4 am this is not going to work. Door knob leading into bathroom was broken, not there. Smoke detector was hanging by wires from ceiling. Checked out a day early and when asked for a refund for the night not used, told to contact the booking agency, asked for a refund and told no by hotel for night not used. When talking to clerk at front desk manager walking into area, asked are you manager, nodded yes and tried to tell her about experience and she just scurried into her office refusing to speak with me. I would like the one night refunded since we left early. I have pictures I can share also of the missing door knob and the hanging smoke detector
