Reservations were made even though you had NO ELEVATOR 6 weeks prior to our arrival, and no idea when it would be repaired. My husband is a 100% disabled Veteran, and cannot move around easily. The hotel should have mentioned this at the time I made a reservation. We had no idea we would be on the second floor. We had to take the accommodation since we have a service dog and could not find a hotel (accepting) service animals at the last minute. The property is VERY poorly maintained, and you must ask for everything from utensils to Kleenex. Have had far better accommodations in other countries, including Egypt to name one! The only thing going for the hotel staff who go the "extra mile" when they can, especially "Katie" the manager. She has been a light in your POORLY maintained facility. The parking lot had a truck jacked up on floor braces, leaking oil. The entrances were dirty and muddy, and cigar butts were everywhere. On a couple of occasions, the halls were filled with cigarette smoke in a non-smoking hotel. The free breakfast was oatmeal packets and Little Debbie muffins. Our room had a floor that sunk in the middle. My best advice, stay away from this hotel.

1. LOUSY BREAKFAST (no cream, no instant oatmeal)... 2. BAD SMELL WHEN YOU ENTER ROOM...(had to spray carpet 3. DIRTY AND BROKEN CURTAINS....

I stayed in a hotel of theirs in Austin and it's clear they don't wash the sheets and only make the bed if it looks clean. Just a little while after staying there, I now have ringworm on my back and torso.

Stayed at the Schaumburg Convention center hotel in Chicagoland area for a week. I was so afraid to leave my room. There were drug addicts following me around constantly asking for money, cigarettes, lighters, food and rides. I washed my clothes once and was followed to laundry. They were walking the halls in pajamas, no socks or shoes. It was a total nightmare. I definitely wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. Staff acted like it was a normal way there. It was a transient hotel. Their advertisement is bait and switch. Bad news!

We recently stayed at Extended Stay Newport Beach. The first thing you see is a 55 gallon drum as a trash can. There's no luggage cart because the customers don't bring them back. There is a man at the front desk wearing a black hoodie with a fishing baseball cap. No uniform. No name badge. Didn't know who he was and thought he was part of the cleaning staff. Found out later that his name was Robert. We booked a suite for 3 days. The kitchenette was not equipped with any dishes, cups, flatwear, etc. Nothing. We noticed a placard letting us know to customize your kitchen and to please contact the front desk to make your selections and a dish package will be delivered to your room. Called the front desk only to find out that they had run out of everything and nothing was available. Tina had just come on shift and said that she'll put stuff together for us. After what seemed like an hour waiting I called the front desk and Robert answered. Told him that Tina put something together for us for the kitchen. He said it's here and that I'd have to come and get it. The dishes and flatware cups and bowls were wet so apparently Tina had to wash them. The kitchen faucet was so old and sprayed from the sides. The refrigerator had rust spots all over the outside of the freezer door. The bathroom did not have the little bottles of shampoo or conditioner. I called the front desk and was told that they do not put those in the rooms. Shampoo was available and that we'd have to come and get it. The hair dryer in the bathroom wall was about to fall off. The bathroom fan was LOUD. The entire floor area was filthy. Not dusted or mopped The headboard was dirty. The bed had sheets and a sheet like bed cover, no blanket. Usually a hotel leaves a blanket in the closet. Not. Called the front desk again for a blanket. This time Jonathan answered and he was nice and respectful but also said there's one at the desk that you can come get..sigh. At least Jonathan was wearing a uniform and a name badge. Oh and on the first floor there seems to be some very smelly people because the hallway smelled like armpits. So moral to this review, don't stay here or stay here only if you don't mind a filthy hotel and love cleaning and don't care for customer service.

Had a reservation for a Sat. Showed up about 5:30pm and I was told that since I only had a one night reservation I would not be able to check in. I asked about any charges and was assured that I would not be charged. Two days later I have been charged and am being told that I was a no show and they only will put in a case to see IF I Might get a refund in a week. This is completely absurd and will never use this company again. Worst Service Ever
