I ordered 2 things on Aug 8th and still it hasn't even shipped my disappointment is immeasurable.

Hello, thank you for leaving your feedback. Our apologies for any inconvenience or frustration. The manufacturer of the merchandise ultimately determines when the item will be delivered to us. The information we post to our website comes to us directly from the manufacturer. We post the ETA information in good faith that they will be able to make deliveries based on their given estimates. Unfortunately, unforeseen issues can arise during the production and distribution of items such as this. Manufacturers do not share with us the reasons for delays, so we cannot predict when or if any delays will occur, or how long the delay will last. Again, we are very sorry for your inconvenience or frustration. If there was something that Entertainment Earth could do to influence the speed with which manufacturers deliver their merchandise, we would certainly press them on these issues. Manufacturers however, do not accept input from retailers. Their timelines are based on their own internal needs.
