Donner MusicReviews of donnermusic.com

I ordered the 'Donner DST-152 39 Inches Electric Guitar Kit HSS Pickup Coil Split Solid Body Electric Guitar with Amp/Bag/Accessories'. I thought this would provide my son with everything he needed to learn electric guitar. However the 'Amp' I received is TINY! About 15cm across. The amp in the advertised photo is shown in a very misleading way, making it appear much larger than it actually is. I now have to buy an additional amp. Very misleading selling technique.

Awful customer service, I will never buy Donner product ever again.

Ordered 6 days ago. Received a tracking number for Yodel (Possibly the worst courier in the UK), but the tracking still says its not been dispatched. No phone number on their site to speak to someone and they don’t reply to emails when I tell them to cancel and refund. Dont waste your energy with this company.. Contacted the courier yesterday and they said that, after 5 days, they still have not received my keyboard from Donner. Donner claims to dispatch from UK stock but I now sustect this is not true. I have emailed the 5 times now and asked for a cancellation and refund but all emails have been ignored. PLEASE LOOK AT THEIR REVIEWS BEFORE MAKING A DECISION ON SPENDING MONEY WITH THIS COMPANY.

I emailed them on numerous occasions advising the order was to be cancelled due to the appalling service supplied by themselves and the courier company XDP who we could get no response from. The order was supposed to be delivered on the 23/11, did not arrive and since then item could not be tracked - only advice was at depot. Despite our request for cancellation and refund (case opened with PayPal) they ignored and then the piano was planned for delivery today via an email this morning. We were advised by PayPal to refuse delivery and to return item to sender. The piano arrived and was thrown off the lorry by the driver and then dropped and pushed along the path (all on cctv camera). There was no duty of care at all. The item was returned with the courier as we would not accept delivery, we also have photographic evidence of the return and the registration number of the van, the driver was unhelpful and rude. All this information has been forwarded to PayPal. We are awaiting a refund by return. Awful company ~ avoid. Ordered a replacement from Chase that arrived next day with amazing service.

I bought a ddp 200. It took 24 hours to arrive - I was expecting it to come from China but it was delivered from a depot in south London near me. Minor criticism it was just left on my doorstep (on the street!). Unpacked it all wrapped secure. Immaculately and the piano is so reassuringly heavy and solid. No damage. I feel like I got incredibly lucky there is nothing wrong from what I can tell in the first few hours of ownership. I am a total novice. So I don’t know much better but I have grown up with 2 grand pianos and an upright (from a musical family) - this sounds good. It feels ok to play (not amazing but that was to be expected in the price) the speakers are loud, the keys are responsive. It is an incredibly beautiful piece of furniture that sits in my lounge. It looks very modern. I feel like a very proud owner and I wanted this review to provide some balance to the overwhelmingly negative, reviews on here which do collectively sound pretty bad! TBH I was braced for the worst. I was two minds about ordering this and had I more sense I would have Not ordered the piano based on all the negative reviews. I’m glad I don’t have sense because it’s so beautiful. Obviously if something breaks / or turns not to be working I will amend this review but for the time being I give this 5 stars and hope others have a good experience like me.

I recently bought a DDP-80 keyboard with piano bench. Here’s my honest review of the product and my experience. Thumbs up for sending the order within the next week. The keyboard and bench were both of great quality, very easy to install with clear instructions. Sound quality was not bad for a keyboard. Haven’t tried the headphone function yet, but was happy enough with the sound and pedals. Thumbs down for contracting GLS to do the delivery. That’s where it got messy because there were obviously two packages but GLS did not deliver them at the same time, so I was left feeling confused and lost about what to do with a missing keyboard and only a bench. Also much to be improved in terms of customer service. I sent a number of emails enquiring about the other half of my package, but did not hear from them at all.
