Find a different travel guitar
When I first saw this guitar - I was impressed. And I found one on eBay being sold by Donner so I bought it in August 2024. When I got it - I had a number of challenges tuning it - it is not manufactured very well. But I finally got it tuned. Sounded ok - nothing great - but my reason for buying was to get a guitar I could easily travel with. I decided to play the guitar 2 weeks ago - and plugged it into my amp. It would not connect. Tested everything. The guitar is a "rock" ... a piece of wood. I reached out to Donner. They told me to send them a video showing the issue. So I did. Took a bit of time to film it and show the amp connected to my Fender and working and then switching to the Donner. And it showed that the Donner was not outputting music. I showed that the amp jack on the Donner was not providing a decent connection ... lots of static when you pull the audio cable out. The issue is the audio jack on the Donner. And I sent the video to Donner and I got a message that they would be back with troubleshooting. Got the email today - it appears that the warranty expired a week before I sent the email to Donner. I was told that I should "find someone" to fix it ... huh ?? Like where? And no troubleshooting ... You would think that they would have done SOMETHING given the warranty had expired only one week before my email - they SHOULD have done more. At least offer some troubleshooting or suggestions. So avoid this company and their products - there are MUCH better travel guitars out there ... that sound good (unlike this one) and have decent support from the manufactured.
