Updated : I hope I’m the exception to the rule
Update 3/28: I upgraded my review to 4-stars as while it wasn’t exactly smooth, Done was able to work with me to resolve my issue and assigned me a new provider to work with who was much more involved and helpful. It took a few more days than I would have liked, but they reached out and followed up, and in the grand scheme of how slow mental health care can be as an industry standard, it was better than trying to do it on my own. Done is like any platform-based subscription where you are matched with a professional, but the quality of that actual final service is conditional on who you are matched with. As such, I don’t feel it’s quite fair to review Done. based upon the action (or in my case inaction) of the provider, as that’s not really the service Done is providing. They’re more of the intermediary between the provider and you. So, I guess my final recommendation would be to use them, but be sure to communicate to them if you feel the standard of care by the assigned provider is not up to par, and do that at the first sign of issues… and they will at least listen and try to resolve things… which is more than I can say for some other platform-based services. Original review: I hope I’m the exception to the rule, but my experience has been awful. Signed up for the initial appointment and during the Zoom call, the provider was disinterested and seemed annoyed to be on the call. We spoke for a bit, and at the end of the session she gave no diagnosis one way or the other, but only said that “depression can sometimes mimic symptoms of ADHD” and that “someone would reach out in 24-48 hours to discuss things further.” OK, that’s good to hear, except… no one did. I waited a week and nothing. There’s no way to see notes or diagnosis from the provider on the portal, so I reached out to Done. and explained the issue. There was talk about possibly changing providers, which I replied I was open to, but then I heard nothing further from the people at Done. as well. I did not spend $200 for a “diagnosis” my sister’s 12-year old kid could have given me: “yeah… maybe you have ADHD, maybe it’s depression, I dunno… you should ask someone else.” I’m definitely not feeling confident in this service to commit to $79/month, when they can’t even get the initial provider/patient assessment thing off the ground. Would not recommend.
