I really like my frames. I had the exact frame last year and love them so much I ordered them again. Designer Optics is a great place to buy my frames and they were great to deal with. Also a great price. They shipped very fast.

While their prices are less than other online retailers, it took longer than expected to receive the frames. Initially they were to be received 3-5 days after purchase, they arrived 10 days later. The shipping box as well as the frame box were both damaged and someone opened the boxes along the way. Both ends of the shipping box and eyewear box were torn open. The frames are ok, but I will be weary of ordering from them again.

Hi Joanne, Thank you for the detailed feedback, and we're glad the frames themselves arrived intact. That said, having both the outer shipping box and the eyewear box torn open on both ends is not normal handling, and we understand why that's concerning — it shouldn't happen, and we're raising it directly with our carrier as a service issue. Since the boxes were opened in transit, we'd like to double-check that everything is exactly as it should be. Please reach out to [email protected] with your order number, and we'll gladly verify the frames or replace them if anything seems off. We appreciate you flagging this, and we're sorry it affected your confidence in ordering with us again. The Designer Optics Team

I found my older, hard to find frames here and was able to put my old lenses in them. The price was reasonable and shipping was fast! I am so grateful they had them in stock!

I order a watch from them. I was skeptical at first but then it has been nothing but a positive experience. I first accidentally put the incorrect zipcode in (my fault). I sent them an email and the next day I got a response that it was fixed. I then received an email that my watch was on back ordered for another month after ordering it when it said it was in stock. I emailed them asking what was going on and that this was a birthday present that was this same week.. They explained to me that their supplier didnt have it when they said they did. They asked me how I wanted to proceed. I told them I still wanted the watch. They thanked me for not canceling my order. Then out of no where the next day I had an email saying that it was on the way and I got it 2days later which was fast than I originally anticipated it when I ordered! I dont know where they found one but I'm really grateful! I will definitely order with them again!.

I ordered some prescription glasses from this company and they were too small. I called to send them back for an exchange in size. All they did was tell me I couldn’t return them and then they tried to sell me a second pair of expensive glasses. A lot can go wrong with prescription glasses. Stick to the big companies that allow you to return or exchange.

Hi Sarah, thank you for the feedback. To clarify: prescription lenses are ground and edged to fit the exact shape and size of one specific frame, so they can't be moved into a different-size frame — choosing a new frame means new lenses have to be made from scratch, which is a real cost, not an upsell. We offered a discounted price on that new pair, and a refund on the frame was also available if you preferred not to reorder. We'd like to revisit this with you directly — please reach out at 718-412-0407 with your order number. — Designer Optics Team

I ordered a pair of Scott Harris frames that my optometrist no longer stocked. They arrived safely and well packaged.
