I had some very rare and precious books coming from overseas that needed to go through an official customs clearance. Jenny from the Consumer Care Team reached out to me and explained the situation and process simply and clearly, and was there to answer my concerned questions with grace, professionalism and patience every step of the way. DAI Post took possession of my parcel from APC on 14 September. I noticed since being sent to Customs for clearance on 15 September that there had been no tracking updates for two days so contacted DAI on 17 September to confirm if it was still progressing for delivery within the estimated 18-22 September delivery. It is now 9 October, the parcel hasn't been received despite multiple follow ups with DAI, all I hear from the support agents is that they "don't have that information", "can't confirm", and will "follow up and get back to me" then never respond. Meanwhile DAI has continued to blame Customs for delays. I contacted Customs directly, and was informed the parcel cleared on 26 September - so there is now 2 weeks of unexplained arbitrary delays and deliberate attempts to mislead me. DAI post outsource their Customs Brokerage, and I've only been able to track down my parcel status and location since speaking directly to Customs & the broker involved. Considering this was DDP shipment and I've had to do all the work I have no idea what DAI was paid for because all they have done is mishandle and obstruct the logistics process. UPDATE (14 Oct): The customs broker of record has now formally confirmed in writing that this parcel appears to have been short-landed and never physically arrived in the country. DAI's repeated updates throughout September and October claiming 'ongoing Customs delays' were completely false and misleading, as their own network had already failed to uplift the parcel from origin.

Avoid using this service at all costs! Package was stuck for 2 months and would not respond to any form of contact. We have now been informed that "due to circumstances we can't proceed with the delivery" and the support ticket was closed immediately without giving us a chance to enquire further. We had sentimental items that were being sent from a family member overseas that are now lost forever. Hope you step on a rusty nail.

ONE STAR – TWO SEPARATE SHIPMENTS, REPEATED FALSE DELIVERY ATTEMPTS AND ABSOLUTELY APPALLING SERVICE! I am extremely frustrated and disappointed with the service provided by DAI Post Australia. I purchased two separate items from the United States, approximately three weeks apart. On BOTH occasions, shipping was paid for, with DHL handling the international shipping and DAI Post apparently responsible for the final delivery in Australia. On both occasions, DAI Post claimed to have "attempted delivery", despite the delivery address being a fully operational business, staffed from 7:30 am to 5:00 pm. Even more frustrating, these supposed delivery attempts occurred multiple times. I PAID FOR DELIVERY, YET I WAS FORCED TO SPEND AN HOUR OF MY OWN TIME GOING OUT OF MY WAY TO COLLECT A PARCEL THAT SHOULD HAVE BEEN DELIVERED TO MY ADDRESS! Why should a paying customer have to waste their own time and incur additional inconvenience because a courier company cannot fulfil the basic service it has been paid to provide? Once might be an unfortunate mistake. But experiencing the same issue with two completely separate shipments, three weeks apart, suggests a serious and recurring problem with their delivery operations. I strongly question whether these delivery attempts were genuinely made. The business was open, staffed and available to receive deliveries during its operating hours. To make matters worse, I never chose DAI Post in the first place. DHL was the shipping provider, and DAI Post appears to have been assigned the final delivery. What exactly am I paying shipping fees for if I ultimately have to collect the parcels myself? Two shipments. Two shipping charges. Multiple questionable delivery attempts. An hour of my own time wasted collecting a parcel. Absolutely unacceptable. DAI Post needs to be held accountable for its delivery performance and the accuracy of its tracking information. I would not recommend DAI Post to anyone. Based on my repeated experience, their service has been unreliable, inconvenient and completely unsatisfactory.

I had an issue with my parcel and I rang DAI, spoke to Elmer,who was amazing and stayed on the phone with me until we sorted out my issue. Wich we did,but I was impressed with his customer service and he is definitely an asset to this company.

Delivered to the wrong address

My package was delayed and when I reached out for some assistance Scott was very helpful in advising me my options and explaining why the situation happened. I really appreciated his help and when my parcel arrived it was really great to see “urgent” stickers on it.
