I am disgusted with this company and feel taken advantage of. After less than 6 months, they raised the rate by $17/month. Then they assessed a late fee of $27 when my automatic payment was the original rate for the first month of the raise. I spoke with someone at the national company who said her manager would look into it. They wouldn’t rescind the late fee. Other complaint is that I have received emails and phone messages giving me different informed about what I owe. It seems to me that once you move your stuff into the unit, you are at their mercy until you can arrange to move it out. I have had another storage unit with a small private company for 7 years and they’ve never raised my monthly rate!

Absolutely disgusting one of my best friend's got a storage unit in that place and it destroyed all her stuff personal belongings and things that she cannot replace horrible do not rent from there shotsman lane,either it's Halls Tennessee or Knoxville Tennessee I feel sorry for that poor woman it's horrible they've not even sent her a thank-you or you know I'm sorry this happened thank you for doing business with us that just tells you what kind of people you put in your personal belongings in there too.. DO NOT PUT YOUR PERSONAL BELONGINGS, UNLESS YOU WANT THEM DESTROYED OR STOLEN!!!

I'd love to give it a 0 star but not an option. I used to run a business and used the storage unit to store unused equipment. My rate continued to raise higher and higher until it more then doubled. They have become more customer unfriendly by the month. Now cant pay over the phone at all and after a few weeks behind you cant even pay online. After 5 yrs with them I am now moving my equipment to a better company!!

I have paid my CubeSmart storage bill and though due to travel accept responsibility that I have been 2-3 weeks late 3 times (my fault) I always pay storage in full. Additionally I went to my storage while in town visiting and found rat droppings all over and ruined items due to rats chewing on bags that I had to throw away. I brought this to the attention of the management and clerk on site... the clerk apologized profusely and explained she didn’t know what to do. She went in to tell me that they had to have a woman remove her items recently as she had stored food in her storage unit (which is prohibited). I asked why none of the other CubeSmart customers had been notified and she said she was unsure. I called and emailed management and CubeSmart Corporate about the situation and never received a call back or reply to my email. I don’t live in St Petersburg FL, where my items are stored at the 22nd Ave location and as such haven’t had time to remove my items that I might keep (very few thanks to the rats) it because I have refused to pay until someone contacts me I have Benn sent an email that my storage bill for Sept 2019 (it is now Oct 14,2019) must be paid in full in cash at the store (not by debit or money order.... again, I live over 600 miles away and have had no communication from the manager or corporate about resolving the fact that I pay for a climate controlled storage unit that they obviously knew had a rat problem and ruined some of my items... no, the only communication I’ve gotten is from the site manager stating if I don’t pay my Sept and. Ow Oct rent in full in person in cash along w a lien they will sell my items.... mind you my items that have rat droppings and nibbling all over them due to their lack in management. I have moved several times and have used different climate controlled storage facilities without issue. This is my 5th time storing items due to a move or extended travel with work. I will make sure to tell every person I know, I will throw it all over social media.... DO NOT EVER STORE ITEMS WITH CUBE SMART. It is the worst and most poorly managed company I have ever done business with.

I am truly humbled by the experience I got from the beautiful young ladies at CubeSmart yesterday . I needed to move my stuff yesterday walk me through the whole process and help me do auto to pay . I got a space that accommodated all my stuff . The manager and General manager were so professional . I want to thank the young ladies at the CubeSmart on 83 rd and south Chicago

The people on 106 are friendly fun and amazing i couldn't ask for better costumer service you guys rock 😘😘

I am renting a unit in Schererville, IN. Flo and Mary Ann provide awesome customer service and are really nice people! They go out of their way to help get any issues that you may have resolved.
