The Elevator and restroom have both been out of order for 3 weeks now. Being in the 3rd floor it has to be accepted that climate control is only on the 1st floor . However, for the past 2 weeks, ( with outside temperatures in the 90's +) there has not even been any air in the 1st floor. Yet it's chilling in the office. Doesn't cubesmart care at all about the customer? It seems they only care about the money. Raising rent repeatedly & now it appears they have changed insurance carriers to give less coverage but charge residents almost twice the monthly fee.

I would not recommend CubeSmart. I rented my unit because of the competitive monthly rate of $151. What I didn't expect was for rate increases to begin just five months after I moved in. In only 14 months, my rent had climbed to $229—a staggering 52% increase. The problem is that once you've moved all your furniture and belongings into a storage unit, you're essentially stuck. Moving everything to another facility is expensive, time-consuming, and physically exhausting. It certainly feels like CubeSmart knows most customers won't go through the hassle of moving, making it much easier to keep raising rates. If you're considering CubeSmart, don't be fooled by the low introductory rate. Ask how often they raise rents and by how much before you sign. The price you agree to today may have very little to do with what you'll actually be paying a year later. I wish I had known that before renting there.

My husband is a veteran & we are in our 80’s. We have had a storage unit in an old building for a number of years. Cube Smart took over the management. Our monthly fee keeps going up. It is currently $252 a month. They keep charging us for protection even after providing them with copies of our home owners policy declaration in person & by email. It is not clean or climate controlled, the elevator is often broken and our unit is on the 2nd floor. In order to move anything we have to navigate a huge building to find a trolley & access to an elevator. We have been trying to move out but it is so hard for us. There is no recourse for us; we feel like we have been caught in a spider’s web.

You can improve by keeping the rates more steady, increasing the rate by almost $15 dollars ever six month is not good. The turnover of customers is unbelievable. Yeah getting them in at a good price then raising the rate every six month doesn't make sense to me

Raised the amount again, ridiculous policy for late psyments ( not only a charge but they out another lock on and it’s a pain to get it removed). I will be moving out soon.

My overall experience was decent. The facility was clean and secure, and the move-out process was straightforward. The main frustration was the short-notice rate increase and lack of flexibility after being told support would be available. Clearer communication would have made a big difference.

We started out with Cube Smart and things were fine at first. However, over time, they continued to raise the prices on our storage unit to the point where it became completely unaffordable for us. It's frustrating because they know customers need their services, but the constant price increases feel unreasonable, especially for such a small space. On top of that, the facility really needs a dumpster. It's inconvenient to not have proper disposal services available when you're moving items in and out of storage. For the price they’re charging, I expected better amenities and customer support. If you’re considering Cube Smart at this location, be prepared for rising costs and a lack of basic services. This is no reflection on management and staff; for they were always kind and respectful.
