RUN. I will spare all the details, and I'm guessing not all of the sites were as bad as the one I experienced and continue to experience. Sarasota, FL. They are still charging me a monthly fee even though I've got an official cancellation letter from them. Long story, but go to Yelp and read the reviews there too. I had to put a stop at my bank and file a claim with the Better Business Bureau. I'm still working on it all. My son was diagnosed with leukemia and I was not able to cancel in person, (living in the hospital for 6 months in a different state), but I called right away and then they ran me around, said it was handled. Charged again. and again. Then they ran me around more. Said I had to go to the post office and write a handwritten letter and do this and do that and send it return receipt, yada. I did it all. Charged again, and again. I even have an official letter from them, that I demanded someone finally send me, and...you guessed it! STILL being charged.

Segregation! That is all I have to say about that.

Crappy gym with no air circulation, no cleaning supplies (haven't been since covid), etc. But I didn't complain because I felt like I got what I paid for. Then covid rolled around and just even trying to get ahold of anybody to talk to is IMPOSSIBLE! Then when I got somebody and I tried to cancel my membership after a year of not using it, I was informed that I committed to 12 monthly payments, not a "year" membership. I have had this damn thing for about 2 yrs now and have not been able to quit because they keep shutting down and its been so long I cant even confirm with my credit card company how many payments Crunch has taken from me. TOTAL S*** SHOW!!! AVOID!!!

I joined this gym during the fall of 2020 after college started back up. Since my schools gym was closed due to covid, I figured that joining a local gym would be the next best thing. I remember first starting and how they offer their “pro plans” or whatever it was called for free for your first month or so. I thought it was a pretty good offer and experience at first and didn’t mind going to the gym for the first few months. Then winter break rolled around and I asked to freeze my membership until I came back to school. Once I returned to school, it’s gym was opened back up to us and I no longer needed a membership at Crunch. I called and told them this, to where I was told I needed to come into the gym to cancel in person. I was annoyed by this, but I did make time to go and cancel my membership. I vividly remember signing a piece of paper when I told them I was canceling my account. I had no further incident with them until summer rolled around and I was back home. I get informed that my account is still active and my next payment is coming up. I call and questioned about this, to where I was told that my account was never canceled, but instead frozen. I informed them that I was no longer at college and I was over an hour from that gym. A long phone call ensues and I am told that my membership will be canceled. Fast forward to the end of the summer and I receive a letter from a collection agency that I owed $50. I call Crunch asking what was going on and only got a couple of weak excuses from whoever was working at the desk at the moment. I asked to talk to a manager and was informed that the manager was out at the moment but that the desk worker would leave a note for the manager to call me back. I wait a weekend and an additional 4 days until I get a letter. Instead of it being a letter from Crunch, it is another letter from the collection agency. Now saying that I owe $70 and have until the end of the month to pay. I call the following Monday and finally get in contact with the manager, to where I was told that my account was never in fact canceled. I was going to be billed all summer if it weren’t for me getting a new CC and they could no longer charge me. As a matter of fact, since my card was being decided, they canceled my account for lack of payment. All is settled now and I hope that I and anyone else never has to deal with something like this ever again. Absolutely abysmal business practices from this company, and it seems like I am not the only one who has been treated like this.

Signed up for training, misled by terms. You cannot trust what anyone says at this gym. Horrendous time finding anyone one to cancel. Incredibly rude and arrogant staff. Good gym, avoid their training AT ALL COST.

Scam they Bill you after you cancelled during covid it was impossible to cancel but i managed to do so via mail and they are still charging me . They are scammers stay away

They bill you after you cancel. They call it a final payment. Buyers beware. Facility is nice but they don't like the break up if you move.

If I could rate 0 stars I would… crunch fitness do not cancel your membership when you ask … I canceled my personal training in March 2021 at the Kissimmee location… only to find that in May 2021 they continued to charge me for personal training that should have been canceled ,, they have been charging me $200 per month with no authorization… the assistant manager told me sorry I will cancel you now but you will not be refunded ,,, absolute scammers!!!! DO NOT sign up with this dishonest company.. absolutely disgusting… I wish I had read all of these hundreds of reviews from other customers first as this seems to be the normal practice of crunch fitness
