I got sick of surprise rate increases every year. I was paying Credo $90/month for 5GB! I just broke up with Credo and signed up for a prepaid ATT plan that is $25/month with 65GB. Save your money and donate to causes you believe in yourself. Then you can take the tax writeoff instead of Corporate Credo getting it.

-Ordered Credo mobile service -The phone and SIM card arrive -I get the phone and ask if I can actually exchange it for another that is the less of a retail price because I made a mistake. The phone was brand new and I hadn't opened it or activated it. -Long story short, I spend HOURS on the phone with Credo reps and neither got a phone exchange or even got the phone I received in the mail activated. Zip, zilch, nada. HOURS ON THE PHONE. This is not an exaggeration. And every time I have contacted support in the "chat" in their website that is utterly useless. They only ask you to call customer service. THE HONEYMOON HASN'T EVEN STARTED AND I ALREADY WANT A DIVORCE. Update: fast-forward 2 weeks and I still haven't gotten a refund.

This is the WORST cell phone provider. As someone who worked in corporate responsibility for over a decade I thought this was my answer to a "better" company. I am very wrong. It clearly feels they are using CSR to reel people in and then over charge them, provide very limited customer service and features that DO NOT work. I was supposed to pay $35 a month. Every bill has been close to $50 or more and several basic features on my phone are not working. I have called many times to try to get this resolved. I am put on hold and then told they will call me back. This definitely is not resolving the issue. I have also issued a complaint on several sites and their socials and have not received a response. What it seems like is big tech just decides to never respond to help requests. Ghosting is the way they go here.

Horrible horrible horrible! They tell you one thing and then do another. I’ve been trying to get my phone reactivated (because they messed up on their end so it only makes sense that I have to deal with it) for the past 4 hours and nothing yet. I’ve tried calling only to have the automated system “Drop” my calls. Do yourself a favor and go with Spectrum or even Verizon. The service is much better and you won’t be treated like garbage!

I really like the mission of credo, and would much rather give them my money than Verizon (although they give some of my money to Verizon sooo). However, I purchased their insurance for mine and my partner’s iPhones which supposedly “features AppleCare” and when I called to try and use it AppleCare had a record that it had been cancelled a week after I bought the phone even though it still shows up on my bill saying “Featuring Applecare”, which Credo was at a total loss to explain. Um… what? Credo is now saying damages won’t be covered, only loss and theft (def not what I was told when I signed up) and they say my only option is to simply buy a new phone from them even though we’ve paid them $600 in insurance over two years ($300 per phone). I’ve spent over a dozen hours on the phone in the last 8 weeks and been told “a supervisor will call you by the end of the day” multiple times, but no one has ever actually called me and when I call in they say the same thing again. About to switch back to Verizon, unfortunately I can’t recommend Credo cause I feel like they committed fraud with their third party insurance “featuring AppleCare”.

About 6 months ago, I received a postcard from Credo saying, "Join today. Get a $300 Visa for the 1st line." Even though I had been with AT&T for 12 years, I decided to switch over to Credo, "the company with a conscience and collect the $300." The customer service person told me that I'd receive the VISA card. Few months go by, no sign of the VISA card. I call Customer service again and am assured that the card will be sent. A month goes by and still no card. I call again and am told that someone from that department will contact me in three days. No one contacts me. I call again and am told that in three days someone will call me. Today, I called and inquired what's the phone number for the corporate office in San Francisco. I am told that that number is not available. I am also told that my information will be sent to marketing and I'm again assured of receiving the $300 VISA card. I'm caught in a loop with no escape! I think they just try to wear you down and make you quit your pursuit of their promise. It makes me wonder if the money they say they contribute to social causes really exists and if the donations really happen. Credo claims "extraordinary customer service." No, I'd say that their customer service is ineffectual and terrible. I'd also say that the marketing ploy of a $300 VISA card is fake. Don't fall for it. Don't use CREDO.

They’re charging us for data we didn’t use. They’re not a trust worthy company. I would not recommend their service. We switched to T-Mobile. We got a much better deal with unlimited data. We’ll never use Credo again.

This is the worst customer service I have ever had. Waited over an hour the first time and they said could not help unless the phone was doing the problem at the time I called. They then logged it as a successful fix. Called again, waited over an hour and then she put me on hold while she consulted with her "tech team" it is again over an hour and have not heard a thing. Leaving the company tomorrow morning.
