I've reached for very straightforward questions but Im frequently "disconnected" with agents who never call back, even though we have my account with phone number established together. I've worked in call centers and am extremely courteous but some could not care less to help. "Carrier with conscience" doesn't extend to staff so the slogan is laughable. (Thanks for nothing Rene)
I also frequently encounter technical issues like OTP verification codes that don't work. It's impossible to self serve and I'm fairly tech savvy.

CREDO Mobile You used to have such good…
CREDO Mobile You used to have such good customer service. What happened? I have been a customer for about 20 years. 5 months ago, my son broke his phone. No big deal, we had insurance. Not so fast, because the insurance company will only talk to Credo. They won't replace the phone. Credo also won't replace the phone and won't let me speak to the "escalation team" working on the case. In the mean time I'm paying for a device and a line Miles can't use and insurance on a phone that isn't in my possession. Credo won't put the line on hold, so they are extorting money from me to maintain my sons phone number. I guess being loud is the only option I have left.

Horrible
Horrible. I ended up paying $80+ for NOTHING. I was slow setting up my phones, and they canceled my transfer without warning. The first time I called to get help, they put me on hold for over 10 minutes, then disconnected me. The 2d time I called, I explained the problem, and then nothing. Just silence. The 3rd time I was on hold for 20 minutes before they explained that my application to switch from Verizon to CREDO was canceled because I was waiting 30 days. BTW, there was NOTHING in the material that they sent me with that 30-day limit.
Also: the site listed on their instructions for setting up your phone gets a 404 error. And when you log in, the so-called "HELP" page doesn't accept the login info their own people gave me!!!

Criminal enterprise
Criminal enterprise. Our phone had no service and after several lengthy calls to customer support we decided to cancel the service entirely. The phone representative said our phone was canceled, but we continue to be billed. I email to say that the account was canceled, and the email reply is that the only way to cancel is by phone. Absolutely the worst customer service. Stay far away!

I canceled service after several years…
I canceled service after several years because the company didn’t offer good options for service while traveling outside the company. They made it very difficult to view and pay my final bill when I did leave the company, and charged a late fee despite multiple attempts on my part to try to log into my account and reach them through customer service. I would never recommend them or give them my business after the run around I received.

I joined Credo years ago ..
I joined Credo years ago ... back with the first windows phone, was all about "the mission" recently they screwed up my plan and charged me $15 dollars for each of 37 consecutive "top ups" on my data plan all BS... in one month! ... its theft is what it is. I use to try to talk it up at progressive gathers I hosted, no kings marches, etc. etc. People had never heard of it, now I will loose them 10 times the customers, thats my new mission! Look for me on facebook, linkdin and X!!! Don't trust Credo people, they will rob you blind!

Absolutely terrible customer service
I’ve been a member of CREDO since the beginning. In recent years however, customer service has completely disappeared.
Twice now, my phone has been sent into an endless loop of only being able to call credo, no matter what number I put in. This even though my account is current and paid up. It takes forever to get a technician on the line. Today, after following advice of that tech, my phone completely doesn’t work-I can’t call out anywhere. I’ve have to text a friend and have them call credo about my phone. This is truly maddening.
I will never recommend CREDO to anyone ever again, and am considering switching carriers.

This is a company stuck in the last century
I wish I had read these reviews before I signed up with Credo Mobile. I was drawn by their great price on an i-phone, but had never used their service before. First of all, I had to wait forever to get customer service. They had changed something so they were fielding more customers than ever, but it was because they didn't roll it out correctly or plan for it, and the wait times could be more than 1 hr. Then I kept going over the 1GB of data plan per month, and had to constantly watch my phone when I was away from my home WiFi. Nobody told me till months later that it was because my newer phone used a lot more data. I shopped around for a comparably priced plan, found one with 15GB of data for the same price and switched providers. They gave me a date to pay off the phone by and then sent me an email threatening collection services if I didn't pay by a few days earlier. I couldn't log into their website any longer to pay the bill, called them, and got an indifferent person who took 30 mins. to verify me, do something in their system to get me onto the website, and that didn't work. So, I paid her with my credit card. No apology for their crappy, Mickey Mouse company. I'm so glad to be done with this company.
