Didn't have a chance to inspect a platform bed frame in showroom. When delivered the headboard and footboard were literally screwed together to reduce shipping costs. Instructions said to unscrew the legs and reinsert the screws into pre drilled holes. However, there were no predrilled holes and the material they wanted me to drill the holes into that would literally hold the bed frame was like compressed cardboard. No way should these pieces be screwed. They should have inserts or they should be bolted. Plus instructions said no drill required. The company should be ashamed to sell such over priced trash

Definitely I will not buy from City Furniture again. You pay for a brand new product, and they always try to scam you with a used/damaged/ non-new product. I just purchased a sectional a week ago, and still dealing with the company. They sent me 3 parts of the sectional in the original package(NEW), and one wrapped in cloth and plastic with visible damages and dirt in several areas. They try you to swallow it, and sometimes keep sending you the same exact item multiple times, trying to fool you as if adult people were stupid. This is not the first time we face this exact same situation with City Furniture, and now going thru this again, I found other family members and co-workers that have experienced the same exact situation with City Furniture, that in some cases have ended up with the return and cancellation of the entire order for considering this practice derespectful. When you paid for a new furniture, the company “must”deliver you new furniture, not to try to clean their warehouses from used/damaged and/or returned items to customer that have paid full price for new product. If you buy from them, you will be likely to go thru the same. Good luck if you buy from City Furniture.

ISSUE RESOLVED! 10/9/2023 City Furniture Customer Service Representative Lattanna refunded my money. Thanks again Lattanna On July 30, 2023, I ordered the Haddie Light Tone Round Table & 5 Wood Chairs. The items were delivered on Friday, September 22, 2023, with stains on supposedly new chairs and multiple defects on the tabletop. I contacted customer service, and they scheduled me for a replacement. On today Friday, September 29, 2023, City Furniture attempted to deliver 5 stained chairs again, without a tabletop, because it was damaged. I refused the chairs and called Customer Services again and requested a refund. Gwen from Customer Services informed me they don't give refunds. I guess it's ok to keep shipping damaged items or offer customers discounts to keep the damaged furniture, instead of refunding the customers their money. This is a terrible business practice, if someone does not want to do business with a company, give them their money back. BOTTOM LINE SHOP AT HAVERTY'S

I wish I could give zero stars. Trash business with trash service. I had a furniture delivery today and had what I thought was a small problem (it actually wasn’t) but I want home for the delivery and had to rely on a picture. Anyway, the “customer care” team is so ignorant on their product they were unable to answer a simple question. I was then told by supervisor Christine V. (the fourth person I spoke to), “it’s in your house, it’s yours.” This was after the salesperson said, you have one day to decide if you want to keep it. The driver had just driven away 5 minutes before I called. My warning to you is, DO NOT EVER BUY ANYTHING FROM CITY FURNITURE. Their customer service is lacking completely. Additionally, no one returns a phone call. I left messages for customer care, the sales person (she texted call me tomorrow, I’m off today) and a showroom manager and color me shocked, no call back. I decided to call the showroom 4+ hours later and was forwarded to a voicemail without warning. I tried to call back and was disconnected multiple times. The fragility of the salespersons and staff is astonishing. My advice would be start somewhere else and don’t make a stop at City Furniture. A joke of a company.

We purchased an expensive Restonic mattress on clearance at City Furniture. Three months later there is a gully where my husband sleeps and one where I sleep, with a big bump in the middle of the bed. We are both side sleepers, and now I feel as if I am going to fall out of the bed. We contacted City and they said no returns. We contacted Restonic and they said we had to speak to City about a return. Restonic will not even hold up for their own mattresses and City does not care for their customers who spent over $1000 on a mattress that is pure junk! My husband and I weigh a total of 300 lbs together, so it is not a weight problem for the bed - it is an inferior mattress. DO NOT BUY A RESTONIC MATTRESS AND DON'T BUY ANYTHING FROM CITY FURNITURE!!!

This is a horrible Company. The company sells bad furniture. The Melbourne couch is especially terrible. The feathers come out and poke you and the customer service won’t help you

This company is a SCAM...the salespersons working there are downright the most untrustworthy people around. They tell you lies just to upsell you. DONT BUY THE FURNITURE PROTECTION...they have so many loopholes where they just deny all claims. Total SCAM. Corporate (Call Center) is just as bad. They couldnt careless about you as a customer.

We spent $12,000 on furniture at City Furniture. Everything was delivered on 8/17/23. All 5 pcs of our white bedroom set are damaged in many places. I took photos and customer service sent a tech on 8/29/23 for the repairs. Tech arrived at 8:30 am , spent 10 minutes looking at the damaged furniture and decided the job was too big and it would have to be rescheduled. I called customer service and was told the next appointment would be 9/5/23 . Once again I cannot make plans for that. Day while I wait. Customer service said that I cannot return the furniture and that if I am not happy too bad. Let’s talk about the ottoman that is supposed to match the sofa. 3 deliveries and each time the same WRONG ottoman is delivered. Green instead of light blue and from the wrong collection. What a joke. When I ask for a $300 gift card I am told if we give you that then no repairs will be done on the furniture. BUYER BEWARE, their customer service is non existent and managers of the store hide and my sales person makes unfulfilled promises. So disappointed. Should have bought from Hudson Furniture, although they have higher prices, the quality is excellent and so is the customer service( purchased a house full of furniture in 2014).
